You have to remember that not all black pudding's are the same , the English and Welsh black puddings are full of suet and rather disgusting to a Scottish palate (not enough spice ) The Scottish Black pudding is to die for but . From a Scotsman

You didnt need all that extra stuff in the scotch eggs. Its just a boiled egg some sausage meat which we can buy good qaulity sausage meat already done.. Mold it round the boiled egg, dip it in flour, egg and bradcrumbs and deep fry. About half an hour at most. You dont need all those other things in it. Just plain and simple.

Black Jacks are actually aniseed flavour, not licorice. Similar sort of the flavours but both come from different plants and aniseed is dried seeds and licorice is a root.

that has to be the worst example of how to spread butter and marmite on toast lol i challenge you to try this... as you said you really like marmite then take a large table spoon of warm marmite and mix into a bowl of vanilla icecream... refreeze and then scoop out and eat with anything else you like with icecream.

pie with chips (fries) or mashed potato and a big scoop of proper mushy peas are a classic, if you want to try something absurd try a battered and deep fried cadburys creme egg that the scottish seem to love so much 🙂 actually the scottish are masters at deep frying everything including a chip butty 🙂

Honestly the fancy brands of black pudding tastes weird like perfume. I would go supermarket own brand versions of it or "The Bury Black Pudding company". And also I think its great with a hash brown and a bit of runny egg 😍

Probably because, like everything American, it's just chemical sludge. Should be a nice golden colour. Margarine has to be coloured as its greyish white without. Cause it's chemical sludge.
