MUSIC USAGE CONDITIONS:
Everyone is free to use my music if credits are given. Exceptions are if you want to use my music in something with commercial purpose because you can get into trouble with GEMA if there is no written permission from me, it already happened several times and people even got sued by GEMA without even my knowledge. So that's why you MUST request a written permission from me if your project is commercial, for your own safety. But as far as KZfaq goes you can use my music for free even if you monetize your videos, just give credits and you can use any song you want. =)

Usage rights - please read: I’m posting the usage rights and important information about my music right here in a comment on every new video so that they’re easily accessible to everyone. =) USAGE: If your project (any project at all, movie, photography, websites, live shows etc.) is non-commercial, which means it doesn't earn you any money, then you can use my music for free. Only given credits are necessary, that's the only condition. Credits would be totally fine as a small text in the movie, website etc. written "Music by Adrian von Ziegler". In live shows and other projects where including a text would be difficult, an oral mention would suffice as well. =) On KZfaq and twitch you can also use my music for free even if you monetize your videos by the way! ANY school projects have automatic free permission to use my music, no license payment is required. If the project is commercial, meaning it makes money in any way (except KZfaq and twitch, see above), you would have to buy a license for the music you want to use. The license payment would be small in almost all cases except for big budget productions. It would be a one-time payment, so you can use the music you bought forever in that project. It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed. Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects. Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no mater what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music. Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion). So if your project is non-commercial or a KZfaq project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal. REQUESTED MUSIC: I generally do not accept offers to make songs on request or to write music for movies, games etc. One reason is that I can't handle it time-wise but even if I had the necessary time I would still stay away from it because I - quite honestly - don't really like to do it.^^ I basically make music to express whatever topic moves me, randomly. I tried it a few times but I have the best creativity and feel the most freedom and happiness when I do that completely alone and without being “employed” by someone. I hope that’s understandable.^^ Important: I do not allow my music to be used in any project that has a clear political, racist or discriminatory message or is pornographic. By that I mean anything that goes from direct political, racist or discriminatory videos or underlining speeches with my music, onto remixing my melodies into a song that has lyrics with clear political, racist or discriminatory message and similar things that clearly promote these things. Same goes for explicit pornography. Media with nude art is allowed, if not pornographic in nature and purpose. I hope you're having an awesome day, and thanks a lot for being interested in my music! =)

Hi Drovenna, same for me! I'm a bit older but got the same feeling. So many things happened in my life, I've fought stress, breakups, depressions, death. But I'm still here, different but the same inside. Taking a breath listenning to this music made me look back and realize that I've come through a rude journey. But now I'm resting and happy, and that's all that matters.

Why can not we live in any magical, fantasy-like world? A world full of magical creatures, mages, bards, warriors, fantasy kingdoms and huge enchanted forests,... everytime I listen to a music like this, I feel empty that our world is far far away from the one I would love to be a part of. A place where we can go to an adventure, fight evil, visit taverns with friends, drink ale and play board games. I know that Celts were real but their music reminds me of a beautiful magical forests and so on. I like going for a long walks into the forest (mainly in autumn and winter) which is next to my house accompanied by my 2 dogs and listen to music like this. Especially when I want to escape from a real world full of problems, stress, responsibilities and study. With my headphones on I always imagine that I am walking in a fantasy forest and there are 2 "magical wolves" with me. :) Thanks for this music Mr. Ziegler and wish all of you guys the best :) sorry, english is not my mother language

And never having warm water, eating the same thing year-round, feeling cold every night, having to work your ass off for every last morsel of food or firewood... There's a reason we live the way we live right now, because the alternative is so hard that it leaves no time for pleasure or relaxation or creativity.
@Templarboi
@Templarboi 5 жыл бұрын
@@arabiannights5301 People have always had warm water, and they didn't eat the same thing all year round. They had a nice, healthy diet that didn't cause nearly as much problem as the sugary and unhealthy garbage we have today. People had fires and houses so it would not be cold every night. "Working your ass off" is subjective as chopping wood when you are in good physical shape would not be considered working, but merely another part of daily life. The last part of your comment reveals the problem plaguing the modern man; all you want is pleasure and relaxation, when even something as simple as chopping wood is considered "hard work" by you. Modern men have become weak and soft. Life back then made sense and existed in harmony with nature and even then people still had time to be creative and make art/music.

Take a D&D Rulebook, gather your friends and some snacks, have some of Adrians music in the background and you have the recipe for a good time. The might not be the biggest part, but definitely an importent one. Greetings from Germany

The first song, Prophecy, always gives me a deep and intense feeling of nostalgia. It has for years, every time without fail. The beginning tune just strikes something inside of me and I don’t know what it is. It’s a gorgeous song, and the only song on this playlist that makes me feel that way. I do have lots of Celtic blood in me, so maybe it’s my intuition picking up on something I, or my ancestors heard many lifetimes ago. ☺️

I was twelve when this came out and I never did forget the name "Adrian von Ziegler. I listened to this while writing my first D&D campaign, the first time I was enthusiastic about writing. It's been a few years, nearly a full decade. And I just got into my third D&D group, and I remembered precisely the mix that started me off. I think you were my first inspiration to even get into music. Outside of that, this is an incredible compilation of music. And giving a re-listen all these years later? It's phenomenal still. I was just casually going through my character sheet and then "Ride" came on and I got goosebumps for the first time in a couple of years. Hell, I still have chills right now twenty minutes later. Fantastic stuff my man. Fantastic.

But "spring charm" clearly was made for you and I and everyone that hs been separated to soon from their loved ones. I love you so much and I miss you so so much, my only hope is to be able able to see you again on the other side! I try to stay strong and do my best to succeed because I know that's what you'd have wanted. Life is so beautifull and also so hard sometimes. I hope people can understand when they read this how important it is to show and say to people they love their feelings because time flies so much. Thank you for eternity Adrian, you are a genius! I am from Albania (in the Balkans) and I dont have the slightest clue if my origin is celtic or not, but I just feel home with this kind of music. Images of mountains come to my mind, fields with grass and flowers, people walking, children laughing, a bonfire, this music playing and me dancing around like crazy and HAPPY! I dont have much words for describing it! Im in awe =D Thank you for this masterpiece!

+Julian Bauer A black dragon swoops from the sky, followed by multitudes of others, all different colors. They all land on a beach. Soon many animals are gathered together. Wolves, cats, and dragons are the most prominent. They all sit, talking in a universal language. After they end the meeting, they disappear. The focus stays on the black dragon, who flies up into the air, taking wing and riding the wind. The other dragons all go their seperate ways. Crows and ravens swarm in a circle, weaving in the air- an intracate dance. The dragon joins, looping and twirling in the center. He is old- the last of his kind. This is his last dance. After the dance of the crows is over, he lands on the beach again, wading into the water. He makes himself comfortable in the shallows of the ocean. The crows and ravens flock around him, then disappear. The dragon closes his eyes one last time. That was what I dreamed.

When i listen to this, i just feel at peace and at home. It feels like in a past life, i lived like this. It gives me so much comfort and i feel like myself, finally. I always play it whenever i need to re-center on myself and remind myself who i am. I just feel nostalgic, i also once played this and i had visions, maybe of my past life. I lived in a house near the forest, and i had a white horse, also i used to play harp in the forest. It just felt like home. I also saw myself going frequently to the castle, maybe i was even a queen. I had amazing friends and i always did bankets for my people. It felt like such a great time. Thank you so much, Adrian von Ziegler, for reminding me of who i am. Thank you from the deep of my heart ❤️

Hard to believe this came out ten years ago. I remember finding it when it was still around a year old. So many DnD campaigns played to this video... A decade ago. Me and my friends were all different people then. Now we are men and women with careers and families. The memories remain and this music invokes all those feelings and stories. That's what this video is to me. Thank you, Adrian.

Despite War and Health Issues, the Middle Ages would be a great time to live. Think about it: so much of the world would have been untouched. No disgusting polluted cities, no cars or electronics, no bills, no schooling, no drugs, no politics, nothing but bliss happy living. Yes, it does have a few major downs, but nothing would be stopping you from running away to the middle of nowhere with family and friends and living off pure land (which you did anyway.) That is what God intended us to do, live off the land he gave us. Not ruining it.

Except for the fact that a lot of cities actually were pretty dumpy and messy, at least in the slums. And politics were definitely a HUGE issue. You could have a king one day who is fine, and the next day have a tyrannical king. And there were taxes and bills just the same as now, and sometimes even more unfair than now (which is saying a lot). Yes, the culture would be quite interesting and you'd feel a little more self-sufficient, but there were a lot of problems back then too. And this is coming from someone who has always wished to visit that time period as well, just make sure you know a bit more before really wanting that haha.

Cities may not of been polluted, but they were DISGUSTING. Far, far worse than cities today. Rome, London and Paris especially. There were no sewers, and if there were (Byzantium had some, which is why Constantinople is not on that list.) they were tiny and reserved to rich parts of the city. There was excrement, human and animal in the streets and during times of plague or siege, it's not unheard of for entire cities to be wiped out or abandoned. Then there's the country, where this is little to no central authority besides taxes. Mob justice is the only justice that prevails, and bandit troops the size of small armies patrol the highlands. (Depends on the land, Russia, Hungary, and Bulgaria were particularly bad) On top of that, there are raiding armies and depending on your time period (early, huns and Vikings) late (mongols and timurids.) That wipe out entire cities. When the mongols conquered china, there was a mountain of rotting corpses visible from miles around.

I don't know, the middle ages would be a simpler time to live in, but are you talking about being born in that time and knowing nothing of the future or going back to a time like that? The latter would no doubt lead to great boredom and then for people like myself a great deal of fun pranking people with simple technology that we can make, at least till we got caught and pressed or burnt for witchcraft (they only burnt females they pressed males under rocks, nice of them huh). Also no one gave us the land, we took it, we are supposed to share it with others not try and own it.
