After listening to countless hours of spiritual healing ASMR, never in my wildest dreams did I expect to find a practitioner check all the chakras and go "oh, no blockages, you're actually doing alright there."

Not to give her too much credit since i think it's all hokey to a certain degree, but i think that's the difference between belief in what you're doing and doing it for money while trying to convince yourself you're doing real work. Personally i like the people that truly believe in what they're doing more since there isn't that element of dishonesty

Even though I don't believe in this sort of thing I do love rituals, alternative medicine treatments, and spiritual nonsense and find the process entertaining and relaxing. I'd love to do the type of things Melissa is doing but I've got too many other ways to spend my money on and thankfully I can experience it second hand. I do hope to get a limpia when I eventually get to Ecuador, since they're quite cheap.
