I didn't breathe during that last few seconds of that DK Summit race... I cannot believe the initial red skipped you, the shock dropped your banana in the perfect place to cancel the 2nd red, fortunately right before boost panels... You then grew just in time to take the shortcut. Somehow you scrape by the blue shell explosion just inches away from the initial hitbox, crack a 3rd red shell against the corner of the ending half pipe, and proceeds to wall dodge a 4th red, which cracks against a 5th red shell?! I'm actually floored.

there are a handful of moments in life where all your struggles and hard-fought battles culminate into a single point in time. and in that moment, god lifts you on the palm of his hand and forges a path for you, and says "thou shalt not get hit". and suddenly, as though by magic, you drive through blue shell explosions unscathed, and red shells spontaneously burst moments before hitting you. for you gyrodos, that moment was at 1:41:00.

I've always had this question and google never gives me the answer, so I'm gonna ask here since both your teammates have it. I've noticed a lot of japanese players who have their mii's wearing those glasses on their head. Are the glasses supposed to represent something or do they just wear them because they see other people wearing them? I get so confused because often it's clipping with the hair model, so I wonder if it's intentional and supposed to be some kind of illusion or if it's just there because other people put it there too.

I love mk8 Videos and you are crazily skilled and I know it may be necessary to watch back often but for me personally it's hard to watch if players often switch their view to watch back. Extremely hectic for me. That's why I love watching SC videos. Extremely relaxing.
