What is an e-way bill?
E-way bill is an Electronic Way Bill generated for movement of goods. E-way bill is electronically generated through www.ewaybillgst.gov.in portal under GST regime. When the goods of worth Rs. 50,000 or more are being transported, e-way bill is generated. The e-way bill includes details of the consignee, the consignor, goods in transit, destination of transportation and details of transporter carrying the goods.
When is E-way bill required?
E-way bill is mandatory when goods of value more than Rs. 50,000 are being transported within or out of the state i.e. intra-state or interstate. The reason of transport can be anything like supply, job work, branch transfer, exchange of goods or sales return. The supplier is required to generate e-way bill and furnish all the mandatory details in it. E-way bill is required even if the transportation distance is as less as 10 or 20kms but the value of goods is Rs. 50,000 or more.
Who should generate e-way bill?
1] Registered Person: Every person registered under GST scheme is required to generate e-way bill if he is transporting goods worth Rs. 50,000 or more.

mam maine transporter id hi dala hai sirf maine part b nhi bhara hai kyuki syd part b optional hota hai lekin nera bill pending dikha rha hai kya part B mandatory h bharna ?

Dear sir mai dhaga Bihar se send karta hu maharastra tab Eway bill banta hai ...............1st eway bill maharastra se kapda rangai or coloring k liye up aata hai ......................2nd Eway bill kapda rangne k baad Bihar aata hai ...............3rd Eway bill mai ese sell karta hu bengal...............4th eway bill kapda 1 hai Eway bill 4 times ban rha hai ese kaise banayenge???

if you are a seller or supplier then obviously you will hire some transport to supply the goods, so logically you will get the vehicle details from transport owner.

usko goods transport nai bolte, ye to waisa hua aap khud hi apni car leke purchase karne ja rahe ho. isme supplier ka koi role nai aayega.

@@harshyt740 Are bhaiya item kaa cost 50000 cross kar gaya hai to way bill to banega hi naa invoice ke saath, aur auto mein maal leke jaayega party to jaahir si baat hai traffic wala rokega aur kagaj check karega hi. Main ye pooch raha hun ki transporter details mein kya bharna hoga tab, yaa blank chod dena hoga. Simple saa to question hai...

@@H2B2D Bhai agar tum GTA (Good Transport Agency) se service lete ho , to hi sab details ki jarurat hai, agar cusomter khud apna vehicle leke aata hai chaahe wo rikhshaw ho ya car , to uske kuch nai hota and usko traffic police roke ya koi aur humko kya.
