#2 Labour Variance Analysis ~ Standard Costing [For CA/CS/CMA/M.Com/B.Com]

Explained the concept behind Labor Cost Variances analysis and procedure to calculate all variances without any formula to remember by simply applying the logic. An ICWA / CMA exam question used to explained all the concept of ascertainment of Direct Labour Variances :
Please note that during the solution I did a small mistake while calculating standard time for skilled labour (It should be 2/4 x 810) but that is not affected the answers as final calculation is correct. I mentioned this so that student don't get confused.

For Standard= 2/4x810=405, Like wise all same..Sir have calculate correct but taken wrongly as 4/2 instead of 2/4..hope every one will make it clears

he is great he is amazing he master blaster i watched the MATERIAL VARIANCE video and it was so so so so so simple now i dont need to watch this LABOUR the CONCEPT were cleared on MATERIAL VARIANCE now you just need to apply those concept here in LABOUR so Whoever came here to watch this video I STRONGLY RECOMEND you to watch MATERIAL VARIANCE then trust me you dont need to watch labour variance you will solve any question

Sir, if the standard output is 100 units and the time required is 50 instead of 4unit per hour the same method would be applied or it will be hours × no. of workers just like actual time method?

In book, formula of labour yeild variance is = (Actual output - standard output) * standard rate per hour of work. Which formula should we follow, one taught by sir or the book one ?
