The three men convicted of murdering Ahmaud Arbery were be sentenced in Glynn County Friday. A jury found the three white men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man, guilty on most of the 29 charges they faced the day before Thanksgiving.
More trial coverage, here: www.11alive.com/ahmaudarbery
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

"The dead cannot cry out for justice, it is the duty of the living to cry out for them." ~ Louise McMaster Bujold. This judge heard that cry and delivered a searing, chilling summary of the events and actions of the three murderers. He concluded with the most severe and just sentences that could be handed down. He deserves a tsunami of respect. His judicial actions throughout the trial speaks of the depth and richness of his character, his iron-clad integrity, his no-nonesense attitude, his singular fairness and his utmost respect for the law and his court room. @@Richard-ii7dk two reasons why your arguments are dead in the water: 1) in order for there to be a CRIME of burglary, there has to be a VICTIM of burglary. Who's property did Arbery burglarized? Mr English and Officer Rash testified they were planning to have Arbery TRESPASSED. Officer Rash testified that he informed Mr English that in order to investigate Arbery for burglary, Mr English had to contact the Brunswick Criminal Investigative Division and make a FORMAL complaint of his property being burglarized. The BCID would then assign a detective to investigate the case. MR ENGLISH DECLINED TO DO SO. All he wanted was Arbery trespassed. If you don't have a VICTIM of burglary then you don't have a CRIME of burglary. Not hard to understand 2) what does the Georgia citizens arrest statue say? A FELONY committed in your presence. Even if your opinion was true, who saw Arbery committing a felony? This thing about "reasonable suspicion" and "immediate knowledge" also useless. Why? When law enforcement on the scene and in formal interviews 2 hours later asked Greg McMichael what Arbery did, he responded... "That's just it...I DON'T KNOW"! How can any fair minded jury legally conclude probable suspicion or immediate knowledge out of that statement from the defendant who initiated the confrontation with Arbery? Again..not hard. The Derrick Chauvin trial, the Rittenhouse trial took the jurors days to deliberate. It took the jurors less than 10 hours because they saw the evidence and they knew this was a slam dunk.

You can see them assault him and threaten him and then shoot him down and leave him to die. They can claim any number of reasons for doing so, and perhaps things really did just get out of hand more than they intended, but their actions were evil and for their actions they were sentenced. His crime was being black while running inside of a house under construction Even though many white neighbors did the exact same thing, only he was targeted It was racism, end of story Racism is what costed arbery his life that day, but the killers didn't realize that they would also forfeit their own lives. The hatred they had for this man ended up destroying them too. Karma! Imagine being a father, and leading your son to ruin because you think you are superior to another man because of his background. They didn't chase the white people that went in that house, nor did they chase the white male/female couple that got caught stealing. But oh no, a black man decided to run away from them, we can't let that nīggēr get away with this let's get the strap and run him down, let's aim our guns at him, and then make Pikachu faces when a man we *chased* and *aimed firearms at* decided to *defend* himself from people *he didn't know* who were *trying to detain* him for a *crime* Maybe now the good ol' boys will think twice before trying to pull this kind of stunt today. It's not 1965 anymore, this behavior won't be tolerated anymore. Stupid fools put a man in his grave, and in doing so, dug their own

The President: Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in this history of mankind. Mankind -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps its fate that today is the 4th of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live, to exist. And should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice:

Know hears something to think about with all this tragedy and evil that has been on this planet since the beginning of mankind! Do not be celebrating because from my understanding of our Good Book Yahweh is disappointed in use and the ONLY, and I'll repeat ONLY way to Heaven is threw Yeshua! I see people celebrating, but.... Before you leave this earth, we all are going to have to forgive these men and anyone else who has sinned against you! Now, how does that grab you? At every trail I see people celebrating which is not the right thing to do! I read this comment below from: Thee Misfit 11 minutes ago he said, "Judge gave their souls an extra 20 to serve before they can burn in hell🤣🤣." CORRECTION, that's not the JUDGE that gives your soul nothing! We have ALL heard the saying," That the Lord works in Mysterious ways" How do you know this Is not a Test? And these men really repent to Yeshua in the future and all the haters celebrating find themselves burning in hell! Now that's something to think about, isn't it? My brother and sisters of All races don't get so caught up and tricked by Lucifer! He's sneaky!

You apparently are no different than the defendants in this case. They made generalizations about Ahmaud who they knew nothing about and that cost him his life. You are making generalizations about all of their neighbors and what they would have done, and you know nothing about them except what your preconceived notions tell you. That is the mistake most people make, no matter what race or background you come from. I am guilty of it at times also. We as individuals, you and I included need to recognize our biases and then work to overcome them. That is the only way to build a better future.
