Hi Kramer, I fondly remember our beloved army captain used this machine to clear mines for Afghan farmers, he went out one day with his dog, a week later we search field for him, all we found was pair of shoes, dog collar and plastic pipe sticking out ground next to crater, so yes it is a well made contraption.

That is Gary Lacombe chemelec pulse pi detector circuit, . i knew him as the most kind man . sadly he passed away in 2019.. i build his v1 and v2. , at v2 . I have more trim buttons knobs , extend the board VR potmeter to a extended trim .. 2 meter on big metal objects no problem but coins and gold not 2 m by far .. Delta pulse is another powerful detector and is available in a kit as well

You can improve add another round coil on the center to final filter conjunction. And also use a headphone not like a large noice speaker.
