Hello All !! Do you guys want to have a #betta_fish_bowl_setup at home? You can easily make a beautiful betta fish bowl setup in just 2 minutes.
Things you need
1) 1 Fish Bowl
2) 1 Betta Fish
3) Some gravels and river rocks
4) Live Plant (Pennyworth or Hydrocotyle verticillata)
5) Mini castle (Optional)

betta fish should not be in a bowl nor have no filter as you do and shouldn't have rocks

no no please don’t put fish in there! it will be like keeping a human in a closet... if you want your fish to live long and healthy get a five gallon with heater and filter

Bro not everyone's rich.. I agree that this is a bad tank with all that extra artefacts when there's no room.. but I keep my betta in a jar as well but I spend a lot of time doing 80% water changes every 3rd day (very slowly so i dont stress it out) and I have added floating plants to keep the nitrates in check.. I think my betta is pretty happy, makes bubble nests all the time and is happy to see my finger.. so I wouldn't advice it but it is do-able...

@@mridhulml9238 they are literally tropical fish and need heat. in their natural environment they have miles of swimming space. also unfortunately with a jar it is practically impossible to have a healthy nitrogen cycle. I understand that not everyone can afford luxury tanks but you can get used 5 gallon tanks for cheap on local online marketplaces and pet stores often have sales that make tanks much more affordable. this video also encourages fish abuse as I doubt most people will be as good as you are at water changes and keeping the bowl clean.

@@notaseagull3320Luckily I'm in south Asia(kerala) so I don't have to worry about the temperature..and yes i dont support this video at all, I hope he mentioned it in the description or sth that this isnt the way to go..if not, I m glad we got comments like this... Btw good tip on the used aquarium bro! I never thought of that..thanks!🙌

Well The bowl is way to small! I use a filter in my tank, along with almond leaf aswell as some like plants, since I live in a tropical region I don't use a heater, and the betta is still healthy. I do water changes every week. Btw my tank is a 5.5 gallon

I'd suggest a bigger tank for the betta fish, but lovely setup there. I wonder what the plastic bag around min 0:50 was for? Thank you.

dear bettas cannot live in a small tank! I think this design is lovely for a minnow family

@Mel Ullom yeh it can but it’s still small they would prefer a bigger size they would thrive more I just find it sad because they can’t do anything we create their environment for them so I believe everyone should create the ideal one

@@amateratshu9812 12 inches is a good size for a betta, however i personally would just go for a tank because the curvature of a bowl can be bad for their eyes and sometimes even make it difficult for oxygen to flow properly.

Bro you gotta change the water way more times in a week if its a bowl.. plus add floating plants and dont let algae grow (not too much)cause that'll keep the nitrates in check.. always clean the remaining food and try vaccuming the betta poop from the bottom to avoid buildup of ammonia.. as for heater you may have to buy one if you're in a colder country , there are cheap heaters available for bowls, I m in South Asia and the temperature is pretty normal for my fish so saves me the hassle

Ma'am why don't you try with Carpet Plants like Montecarlo, Jawa Moss or Anubias on small driftwood and hardscape with Lawa rocks 😇👍 .. I use to dream such aquascapes 😍🎉
