just recently pulled for him and he is so fun to play -

but i will put a watered down version of the build here as well

2pc Wanderer's / 2pc Emblem (substats matter more than set bonuses on childe)
73/205 Crit Rate/Crit DMG ratio with 144% energy recharge.
also i am a full free-to-play player, i dont really support the idea of gacha games in general.

In my 2 years of playing this game, never have I regretted missing a banner this much.. saw two Childe banners pass by and didn’t pull… Not missing the next one for sure.

If you regretted pulling for Childe (knowing his technical playstyle), then why you pulled on his banner in the first place smh /j Haha seriously tho, adding Childe to your own roster is one of the best decisions you’ll ever made. Once you learnt about his cooldown management, double swirl, and backpedaling (exclusive for International), all types of spiral abyss content can be destroyed very dang easily with him (+ made the overworld content like a joke). @@Kalavalsar normally bc some characters r hard to play and some issues only appear when ppl actually have them and play them. It’s not saying they r bad, just some do regret. But maybe we can try getting advices from fellow Childe mains like you senpai. I havent got Childe yet btw

Actually just building Xiangling well can do the trick.. and yes cooldown management.. even without the advanced techniques he clears faster than most of my other dps.. and that includes Ganyu melt, Hu Tao double hydro, Raiden National, Yoimiya double hydro, Xiao, Nilou bloom, etc The only team that clears faster is Ayaka freeze. But with the advanced techniques, he will definitely surpass Ayaka as well..

Group enemies together (you can use kazuha or sucrose for this, kazuha is the better option obviously) and hit enemies with either his bow stance burst or his skill (since both apply riptide) and then continue hitting enemies for the riptides to activate like the video, don't forget to level childe to unlock the second passive sword of torrents and have a high crit rate to damage ratio (60/100 bare minimum) and that's it!

kazuha is not required, he just makes grouping the enemies very easy. other groupers like venti and sucrose can work as well if you have them

yes, pretty much every 5 star bow is decent on childe. just make sure you group up the enemies!

c6 doesn't do much anyway so cons doesn't really matter that much for childe. At least for damage. Most of his cons are for his cooldown.

@@andrewmiles5 theres only so many slashes because of childe's quadratic scaling + grouped enemies, if the enemies arent grouped then childe's dmg isnt crazy. surprisingly childe at c0 vs c6 isnt that big of a difference

well neuvillette is definitely considered the strongest dps in the game at the moment, and is definitely more flexible than childe. but in my opinion, childe is just more fun to play despite his damage not being close to the same level as neuvi.

@@dailydoseofexistence7159 do keep in mind that Childe is really strong in aoe situations due too his quadratic scaling. Against single target scenario, he's more in line with other hydro units like Xinqiu or Yelan (but these 2 can apply hydro off-field)
