In my thicker areas I made the sections slightly smaller but uniformed. So that entire thick section has more locs but because of the additional hairs they'd grow in like the rest. Thinner areas a bit bigger. Definitely doesnt have to be "perfect" .. and that's why I did my own microlocs. I believe I know the way my hair is and how it grows better than anyone judging by a pic or touching my hair for the first time.

Yay! They look sooo cute I ended up going with the twist locs and I plan on getting it interlocked in maybe a week or two. Because my hair grows pretty fast too in styles when I’m not touching it
