In my last trip to Bangkok I carried IKEA foldable bag in my carry on. On the return, put all the shopping items and clothes in it and checked in(did a shrink wrap to protect it). Its an option

Unfortunately this one is from Decathalon and they have discontinued this one. But I personally recommend the Trawoc 50L Travel Bag as an alternative and packing cubes - both links in the pinned comment!!! ✅

That bagpack jugad space management is nice but I did not see no camera gear or 💻 laptop nor chargers in this process or do you have a seperate bag or case for that did i miss something... 🤔

But generally a 50 L bag has higher dimensions than carry on cabin luggage specifications right? Also most airlines will allow 7 kg as free luggage.
