I'm military, and currently using my Gerber Strongarm as my hard-use/survival field fixed blade. It has a fantastic sheath and grip, but is lacking on steel quality, edge retention, etc. I'm a big fan of premium knives and i have a ZT 0350 in magnacut that I adore. But if this sheath is as lacking as it seems, I can't justify upgrading to this. Being able to reliably secure this to my equipment and have it be retained is a must...

I like this knife, a lot! Funny thing is, how I got acquainted with it. Now I want the real thing! Gonna wait for a sale or buying points or whatever but, it's a grail now. The sheath, that's taken care of! I've replaced a few factory sheaths on some "Super" knives already so this one's no different! PBKG, good video here!!!

I like a lot of their knives. Mostly just for looks but I know that they're pretty hyped as being good quality. I don't own any of them, but my buddy has a couple.

Only thing preventing me from getting this knife is the lack of a lanyard hole and the price point; there are too many good USA made 3v knives that cost significantly less. Bradford knives are solid, my only complaint is the handles can have hot spots due to them not sanding them down enough but it’s easy fix.

Left your video without giving it a thumbs up. Came back to do that. Just ordered this today and the sheath is a known issue. Nice to see there's a "fix", but ya, still concerned I have to either heat mold it myself or buy something new. For the price the sheath should be amazing, not an afterthought.

Just picked up the CS AK47 field knife, which is in the same category. Wasn't sure how I would like the grip, but Im lovin' it.

I like the knife it would be nice blacked out too....Nice mod to the sheath as one good thing about kydex you can manipulate it....Good stuff....

I think because we all have so many fixed blades that this one might almost be for collecting. I have my TOPS B.O.B fro camping, my tops delta 3 for edc and my Esee 4 for the end of the world and my Tops Steel Eagle to impress the ladies. So... I want the ZT but I think I'm paying 400 to make it look sexy in my Office/hidding from my wife space cause I spent so much money on a wall hanger that is the TITS!

Do you have any recommendations for a different sheath ? looking to buy this one, but I definitely need a different sheath.

Very strange. So many good knives have bad sheaths. One of them is Tops, other is Ontario (leather). No retention with Tops. So easier to buy a Hogue sheath (hopefully it is not too slim) with has all the belts and buckles. Maybe the fake ZT has a better sheath...
