In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

Jake your system your wearing now in this video looks good on you. Could you do a video on hair systems for older people. I'm 73 and want to get a system but don't want took look as dumb as some of the politicians I see wearing wigs and hair system some of them look ridiculous. I want to feel good about myself. I live in Central Texas (Waco) and can't find anyone who does Lavivid. I do have a ponytail. Can I still wear a system. Which is your favored. Please run a video for older folks. Young man thank you. You have given me so much incentive and my girlfriend is so positive about me getting one

I’m so very glad you posted this, I’m using this system and thought I was doing something wrong. Edit: I’ve also just started to use an Argan heat oil protector and have seen significant differences in the moisture and sheen of the system 👍

Yes since you have the experience. Once you go to a hair center they charge 1500 to start abs 110 maintenance every 6 weeks. That is a lot of money. How much you estimate the cost will be doing it yourself?

I like 90% density. After teasing and volumizing i would leave some non oily shiney leave it conditioner lile Aussie hair leave in conditioner to show just a little more scalp. .I say this out of suggestion mine isnt perfect Id like less mushroom head and more scalp myself-the one thing I miss about getting a piece at the salon I used to go to. You should never get knots !shame lol..u néed leave in conditioner at least before bed. Your gf is totally right..if you want to look 7- 10 years younger than you do you must moisturize hyaluronic acid collagène vitamine c retinol ..started at 32..looked 27 until I was 35..usually look 32 at age 39

Jake I do think after seeing the 90% density and your current 105 % density I would have to admit the 105% is best suited 🤩

Hi Bro, can we use super tape with the 0.03 pu base systems? and not rip it? i have poly-u welded and it seems really great when i pull the tape off and no rips but i see a lot of reviewers saying that the thin base is very sensitive. i dont like glue as it requires more time to clean and etc. :) your help n input will be greatly appreciated :) also i am of asian/Pak/Indian ethnicity and want something more durable and reliable. I live in UK but i want something that can withstand hardcore heat as i work and travel in hot countries and kithchens. :)
