I’m as southern as they come but never had pineapple casserole, but I’m going to give it a try, looked delicious! Frankly I’m going to try both of these, thanks a lot!🍍🫶🙏

Never heard of Pineapple Casserole... But my husband loves pineapple so I will give it a try... Will share with my Dear Neighbor who loves anything with pineapple in it... My Mom would fix us what she called Pears for supper...She always made it with a pork roast..or Salmon patties.... I or 2 cans of pear halfs drained....4 or 8 ozs of Philadelphia Cream Cheese softened...added pear juice to taste and until creamy... put pears on serving dish add cream cheese mixture into the middle of the pears and top with Desired amount of Shredded Cheddar cheese.... Chill until ready to serve... Now my children and grandchildren love it and we call it Grandma Shirley's pears.....

I make this often, using Stove Top Stuffing. But I mix the chopped chicken together with the soup, sour cream and a iittle bit of milk (no chicken broth used) and then dump that on top of the stuffing . It is topped with the other half of the stuffing and put in the oven. We call it Stove Top Chicken and is one of our favorite meals.

I am 71 and my Mom used to make me chunked up colby cheese and pineapple tidbits in a sauce she thickened with the pineapple juice..it was served cold...i loved it

Jennifer, I take pineapple, peaches and or pears with a bed of chopped or a slice of lettuce. Take the fruit slices and lay on top of the lettuce with a dollop of mayonnaise and some shredded cheddar cheese and serve as a side salad instead of a toss salad..Love pineapple casserole.

My mom is from South Central Virginia, she is 91 years old now. I grew up with her serving a pear, pineapple or banana salad with miracle whip and shredded cheddar on a lettuce leaf or shredded lettuce base. Mom made those for as long as I can remember. It was 2 slices of pineapple or q whole banana sliced or 2 pear halves. I make those salads when I visit my mom, it is a pleasant way to start a meal, especially in the Summer.

I’m a Canadian too, I’d try that in a heartbeat, it’s still winter where I am. Plus we always have an abundance of of pineapple in the pantry and cheese in the fridge

I'm from Florida, my family is from Alabama/Georgia and I live in North Carolina. I don't think I'm ready for pineapple casserole either. Lol. No, seriously though, it's probably really good for someone that likes things like cheese cake and someone that likes cheese with things that are sweet. Like pineapple and cottage cheese or strawberry cream cheese on their bagel. I don't. So I never tried it and I probably never will. 😂

We absolutely love this chicken casserole. I put a little milk in my soup and sour cream mixture to make it pour better and makes in more moist.

Also have to say we tried the peanut butter cake out, my four year old was helping me make it & when I turned my back she poured in a full third of a bottle of vanilla extract & it still turned out good! I omitted the vanilla in the icing after that!

I made both of these recipes on Easter and they were both AMAZING!!! Super easy to make I will definitely make both again! The pineapple casserole was delicious I kept going back for more! Now I need to find some Muddy River Rum to make that River Walk!

I’ve been checking your channel now almost daily and haven’t seen anything posted since Easter. I know that when you announced your cookbook being published that there was also another surprise, but I don’t ever recall you stating what it was. I’m not sure if I am correct and guessing that perhaps you might be pregnant and in your first trimester. I hope that whatever it is, that you’ve taken, a well-deserved break. I have to admit I have never had a pineapple casserole like this. Do you know where in the south this originated? I make baked pineapple all the time but thats like a pineapple bread pudding. I ❤ pineapple on pizza so this probably would be right up my alley 😂.
