Crybaby is one of my favorite songs PERIOD. The live version is incredible. I thank anime for introducing me to that band because they are awesome.

The amount of times Nick paused before the most epic parts of Cry Baby was absolutely infuriating.

Renai is the Japanese of “love”. So this song is actually named “love circulation” if translated in English. The version Nick listening is a covered version. The original one is sung by Hanazawa Kana (the voice actor of koi bashira in Demon Slayer).

Tokyo Revengers is amazing! It's about juvenile gangs in Tokyo but it turns into so much more. Lots of emotion, action, and whatever else you need in a solid watch.

FYI, Renai Circulation is very decieving. It's very upbeat and happy, but the anime is a schizophrenic pile of dialogue about mental illness and strange comedy with a very *special* main character, but it's among the best I've seen. If you ever feel like watching it make sure to watch the series in the correct order because there are many different parts.

I'm Japanese woman. I really like Tokyo Revengers. I get tired of shounen anime that don't understand the meaning of fighting, but this is really well drawn and the content is also good.　💕

I'm SO glad Nicholas is vibing to Official Hige Dandism. They are my current favourite band. The creativity and musicianship to craft a piece of music like this I haven't heard in J-pop until them. Like, Seriously. "Crybaby" is a bit of a departure in terms of sound, but the songwriting, arrangement, melody, chord progression, key modulation, is so HigeDan. Satoshi Fujihara's vocals and songwriting are seriously incredible, especially live. "Crybaby" was my first love, and I'm never going back. I hope he goes looking for more. Nicholas has heard "Mixed Nuts" I think from here he should listen to "Editorial and Apoptosis" and "I Love..." and how about "Universe". They are THE most exciting "Pop" band out of Japan right now in my opinion. Seriously a masterclass.

Tokyo Revengers op1 is one of the few openings I never skip. It's just too catchy. You expect it to get tiring, but no, it only gets better after each listen 🔥

Monogatari is my absolute favorite franchise. I read all the officially translated novels, watched the Anime multiple times and it is beautiful. NISIOISIN is such an amazing author. The way how this series evolved over the years and how the dots connect at some storypoints blew my mind multiple times (f. e. Shinobu Mail & Ougi Dark). And the girl in the opening is creepy... Would love to see Nicholas watching it in release order. But I don't know if he would like it because it's 80% dialog... the best written dialog I have ever seen.

Now that you have heard Renai Circuation, you need to hear the "everyone's Circulation" version. That's just pure gold

"Cry Baby" is truly one of the best songs I've heard in my life. Official Hige Dandism really did great with that songs and their other songs! Especially when you hear the Guitar in the instrumental at 5:25 , it makes the song WAY BETTER. If you listen to the instrumental of this song, it's also almost on par with the original. Official Hige Dandism has many other songs that are popular, They made the first Spy x Family opening and so many other songs.

Monogatari series is my favourite piece of fiction. It's just simply a masterpiece with some of the greatest cast of characters and amazing flow of dialogues and banter with insane direction.

What's great about Crybaby is that the lyrics perfectly match the anime story. Most Japanese music put emphasis on lyrics.

I realized this song "rennai circulation" is Namirin's cover version. I like Namirin's voice (also her personality and Nephilim form) , but I want Nick to listen original song by Hanazawa's angelic voice.

Knew you were gonna like Crybaby Nick! When I first discovered it, it became the only thing I would listen to for literal weeks! Fun fact about it, the song had been stated to be based on the main character, Takemichi, in the sense that, even though he keeps getting beat up, he always stands up again and fights on. Tokyo Revengers is a really cool series to check out, if you want something relatively short for the channel. (24 episodes of season 1 with season 2 coming out this January) Even though it seems to be very polarizing in the anime community for whatever reason. I am one of the people who loved it. I was always on the edge of my seat for anything all the characters went through. It has flaws, of course, but every story has flaws, so idk why everyone seems so insistent on hating Tokyo Revengers specifically... Either way, I am very excited for season 2. The arc it is gonna have has one of the most beloved moments in the series. I am worried as to what the opening will be though... I don't know how they could find anything on par with Crybaby.

Tokyo revengers it's my favorite anime/manga, I love the way the plots are made and the characters designs A lot of people may not like Tokyo revengers sm because of the protagonist ( which is a "cry baby" that's why the music it's called cry baby) and I love how much character development he gets to the final

Hi Nick! Tokyo revengers actually ended last week lol, and I can tell you that I personally enjoyed it a lot! The plot is very interesting and well made, and even though the ending was a bit different from what many thought (me included) I still think it's a very cool series you should check out. Don't let ppl discourage you from trying watching it just because of the ending! It's fun show, there's action, love, friendship, and sad moments too. I'd love to see your reactions on it! Monogatari is one of my favourite anime of all time and it is quite deceiving on what it's actually about... It's a supernatural mystery with lots of great dialogue and some of the most insane action scenes I've ever scene. Each intro is for one of the different girls in the series, each haunted/possessed/etc. by some yokai, spirit, monster. The protagonist is one of the thirstiest mf'ers you can imagine. Each song is sang by the voice actress the voices the female character. I really hope one day you get to watch it all.

The "Monogatari series" is composed of "word play" peculiar to the Japanese language. This makes it difficult to fully understand the story in translation, and the production is quite unique. If you are going to watch it, you will need to be prepared.

Tokyo Revengers opening slaps so hard they played it at the Olympics & everywhere in Japan for like, MONTHS after it came out.. I really like the live version too!! If you wanted to or haven't already checked it out, you can just search "Cry Baby live" on KZfaq (should be the first result).

Tokyo Revengers is fire, only one season out. As soon as the last episode aired i immediately bought all the manga volumes (there was no official English physical version, so i had to cop bootleg Malaysian English volumes 😂). You definitely should check it out

Every Monogatari opening is straight up fire! My fav is Nisemonogatari op 2, but I just love all the others!

One of these openings is about a brutal monster of a main villain. And the other is the Tokyo Revengers opening.

Nick, now that you listen to Renai Circulation you should listen to the evil/2nd version of the song called, "Mousou Express." Its arguably is a better song then the first.

If you like the Second one, i'm sure you're gonna love the Maid Dragon openings and endings! The most nice part is that the endings are singed by the main characters Voice actors!

The band that sings cry baby is a famous band in Japan called Higedan. They are the one that made the 1st op for Spy x Family. The lyrics for it is really good so u have to listen to it.

The song in the second half is a work called "Bakemonogatari". The appearance is cute, but the content is a very hard yokai work. The works I recommend are “Lycoris Recoil” and “Summertime Render”, the hegemonic anime in Japan this year. I'm sure Nicholas will love it too.

Hige dandism which did this song and the op for spy family and Mrs. Green apple which did the opening for season one of fire force are my favorite bands. Their songs are so unique and unparalleled. Mrs green apple especially can’t be categorically defined, every single song of theirs is completely different but so good

Monogatari Series is guaranteed the most Intense anime ever. It's intense yet Masterpiece in every aspects, ranging from animation to art-style, to music, to voice acting, to characters, to dialogue, to story, to romance. If you watch it, you will be sucked inside it and will unlock everything like Araragi(MC). By the way, Also, it's original version is much more cute, but the cover is also so cute and amazing that many people really believed that it's the original. But, you can't deceive my ears which have been honed after watching anime. Hanazawa Kana's voice acting is on another level, you will not forget her voice even after listening only one time. By the way, you can listen it live also.

Two openings that I think would be great to compare would be the opening for Umineko No Naku Koro Ni, and OP 1 for Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni! Both similar in horror vibes, and from similar/the same universe, but unique enough to differentiate between them!
