The Song Bobby Simmons talking about is called “Old School” off the Me Against the World Album. That song was Dedicated to New York & New York Hip Hip. PAC is From New York, lived in Harlem & The Bronx til he was 14/15 Years old. He always loved New York. His whole career up until he was on death row he was with New York dudes (Live Squad) People needa stop tryna hide and erase his REAL history & legacy. He felt Betrayed after the whole shooting. People abandoned him while he was locked up. People like Wendy Williams were spreading rumors on New York Radio about him getting raped in Prison. This is all FACTS. So it’s a no brainer why he went so hard when he came out of Jail & outsold everyone who was talking shit about him. Imagine sitting in jail , ppl tarnishing ya name & you have no ability to publicly defend ya self. Anybody would feel the same in that scenario. Long Live 2 PAC

IMHO it’s the 3rd best song on the album. On that song Pac broke down everything about how NY clubs were popping back then, he talked about the blocks and when he talked about “when Brooklyn in the house” I remember that to this day because I was stationed in Germany and every cat New York or whatever were going crazy on that song.

10:45 Pacs second verse from his song “Representin’ 93” was the song I believe he’s referring to. That verse was hard af because he free-styled it. Literally Rhymed all the rap artists/groups of 1993 one take smoothly. One my favorite songs by him. It always makes me feel like I’m in that era whenever I listen to it. 🔥

Hearing him say “PAC” had love for Brooklyn blows my mind when I think about the fact that we separate ourselves into boroughs, sets, and coasts, meanwhile U neva hear those in power divide themselves up like that, and I’m afraid they’ve used hip hop as a tool to facilitate that outcome!!…and because of it,we fight and kill each other when they don’t!!!
@gdc615310 ай бұрын
I think he emphasized Brooklyn because that's were BIG is from. He basically letting people know all tho Pac was beefing with BIG he still had love for the Brooklyn area.

Bobby Simmons is who i first heard announce Pac death when i tuned into Flava videos the day Pac died. And Pac did do a song dissing Brooklyn, Queens and all of NY that he never officially released. What he said on Hit Em Up when he said "my Real homies in NY keep thugging", that was just damage control. And i remember Bobby Simmons saying that Pac got lined up in East New York, Brooklyn 1 time.

I think PAC has love for all ninjas, just go back to before he felt he was robbed, shot in new york, I think PAC was a real great guy, even if you look back at all his issues, PAC started none of it, his actions were only in retaliation and it's not like he was out here physically hurting people, he was actually getting back at you on wax, but yet labeled as the bad guy, trouble maker by some, rip PAC the greatest, the problem was new yorks ego is what it is
