Good point! Especially since it actually doesn't take up inventory space in your ship, but just absolutely gobbles up crabs

I was so sure that the Ancient Lighthouse would lead to some alternative ending, like maybe vanquishing Cthulhu with the power of its light or something like that, since it was so mysterious. Imagine my bottomless dissappointment when all I got was a lamp... Granted, it's the best lamp in the game but when you're that far you don't really need it in my opinion.

well, lets not rule out dlc expansions or sequels, that would be cool to continue your game in a wider world

Flame of the sky light hardly makes a noticeable difference. That was a bummer.

Yeah it's def only "okay" once you unlock late game. It should def be introduced way earlier in the game.

Yeah, I hate it when games have these really useful items, but then don't allow you to get access to them until it's so late in the game that you really don't have use for them. I always thought these types of items should be things that can be get earlier in the game, maybe 1/4- midway thru, but are tough to get. But, then when you get them, they are super useful throughout the rest of your gameplay.

Totally agree. Wish they would've maybe started the quest at Gale Cliffs and made it so you had to travel to a couple of different locations maybe even at at night so it's a bit more challenging.

You can pick him up on a side quest to try to find him a new home! (I can give more info if you want, just didn't want to spoil it if you want to find him yourself!)

@@WaffleCone927 So in Stellar Basic at the most bottom right part of the island where all the shacks are, you can hear barking. One of the huts has a dog standing just outside, go interact with it and bring him to the Researcher!
