Did you know that the producer of Original song of Andra Day RISE UP was ordered KZfaq to removed Morissette's Official Cover Video of RISE UP years ago? but, the huge Fans didn't like what they've done to that Cover Video so, they re-uploaded it and everytime they took it down the fans repeatedly re-uploaded it over and over afain until they got tired removing it from youtube channel that's why there's still a video of MORISSETTE's Cover of RISE UP so thanks to the Fans of MORISSETTE you had the oppurtunity to witnessed this amazing renditions of RISE UP by MORISSETTE.The reason? This is the first Morissette song I have ever heard. Before this song I heard about this singer named Morissette. I didn't cared about it, I've seen and heard the greatest singers. Then this song came out by Mori cover. I was drawn to it, the singer. I've listened and followed this singer daily ever since. That was almost 4 years ago. I have heard both covers before and I don't blame Andra Day's producer to ask U-tube to remove Morissette's cover of RISE UP in the U-tube because Andra Day can't compete with Morissette's cover. Morissette had several millions views around the world and Andra Day has only few hundred to thousand views only. How can she compete? Respect Andre Day, singing at so sadly and soulfullness. But, Rise Up suppose is saying someone in a painful situation, but able to rise it up again with own integrity power and willingness to overcome from the sadness. Unfortunately, Ms. Andre lack of the powerness. Now.. Morissette's sang it raspy voice with some glow on it. Such aggressive glow represents power of will, keep rising up again and again.

Pretty much. Personally, Andra Day's arrangement gives you that deep sentimental feeling that makes you feel like you want to rise up. Then Morissette's version actually gets you to rise up.

I think whats beautiful about the two songs is the different feelings that you get when you listen. For me Andras version is the process of feeling all the emotion and trying to push yourself back up while Mori’s version is the exact moment you feel your self rising. You feel the adrenaline and the strength to actually stand on your two feet and fight. Absolutely beautiful. I only realized that after watching this vid and listing to the two one after the other. Amazing. ❤️

There was a point in the song where andra day was almost sobbing , respect to that she may not have the range that morisette has but her take was i think more heartfelt. Morisette however electrified us with those multi level hi notes and i think was a bit more passionate with her delivery. I say lets bow to both artists.
