Ok Edgar, I’m giving this a go tomorrow. My first gen Tmaxx 2.5 is shifting too late so I’ll go “counter” clockwise just a tiny bit and will make smaller adjustments if necessary. Hope this works because all I’ve been running nitro wise is my first gen Tmaxx 3.3 and the new Tmaxx 3.3 I bought last year. I want to hear that 2.5 be perfect again. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Let me help you out with this Edgar Blind screw that you are connected to is the 1 that holds the gear assembly to the shaft that is not the 1 for the Engagement dog leg

I tighten mine to max i think and almost lessened it to max(no good if i lost that bolt!) But i didnt so im at the point to tighten it then lossen a bit but mine wont ahift after carb change so i will retune to lean it out a bit to get hot mine has alot of smoke assuming that rich too much fuel... ive yet to get a therm yet and temo but mY have to mines brand new went thru a carb messing with it and back at square one

Just changed the spur gear on my jato. Was shifting fine with the stock one. Stuck in first after the new one. Temperature running at 170 and doesn’t go up even when I lean it out any advice?

At the shift point adjustment can u over or under tighten

Hey so I got a new tmaxx 3.3 I just broke it in and for someone reason my car went full scream mode round around the same time I stripped the spur gear like maney a few seconds after. Is there any reason as to why that is ? Mabey make a video on it ? Thanks

Ok I have a update, so I checked the screw on the transmission and it’s all the way in. So that is why it won’t shift!!

What if your truck is shifting too fast

Lean Turn counter clockwise and richen turn clockwise? Is this right?

Is this also for reverse? Mine wont reverse
