We have been getting a lot of people asking to know more about us. So we took some of the most asked questions and answered them in our first ever LDT Q&A! We had a lot of fun filming and we hope you’ll have fun getting to know a little about us.
In this week’s tutorial we are showing how to do what we call the “2 Strand Chinese Staircase Braid” This is a lovely braid that seems difficult, but is super easy (once you get the hang of it). Do your best and don’t forget to tag us so we can follow your progress.

This takes about 8-12 minutes to do depending on the length of hair 😊

Hi! I'm happy to see you are back! The idea with the Q&A is great :) If you are looking for more questions: - What is the most difficult hairstyle your husband can do? - How long did the longest hairstyle you ever did take to do and what was it? - What is your favorite place to travel to? - What do you like to do in your free time? I have to say that your channel is probably the channel with the biggest variety of new hairstyles I have seen by now (since I started watching, not counting the ones I learned the basics from). Usually I see one or two completely different techniques and that's it. But you seem to come up with a completely new style almost every week! You are great!

Beautiful! When I saw the video I thought May self “that looks so difficult, I’ll never be able to do it, I won’t try it” but when I played the video I was amazed that is soooo easy and beautiful. Thank you for your hairstyles. I love them. And yes! Keep doing questions and answers.

My favorite braid so far!!!! Love it! I would have never guessed you to be in your upper 40's. You look so much younger! Do your sons live near you as well? Any grandbabies yet?

I love watching you two! You have such great tutorials! I am the same way as you; I am 48 and have a 32 and 31 year old and a 9 year old son! I have all boys and now have a granddaughter that I can do her hair!! My oldest son was a Marine; love your shirt!

Thank You❤️ I have two sons who are in the Marines and 1 son who is in the Army. My youngest son will be going in the Air Force after he graduates this year. My husband served the Navy. If my daughter joins the Coast Guard, I'll have all the branches of the military in my family😂😂😂

I’ve been LOVING this braid this one came out BEAUTIFUL you did a FABULOUS job!! I loved the Q&A my daughter just turned 10 in August and I have a boy he’s 13 🤬🤬 ya TEENAGERS 🤪🤪 you look great for 47 hunny and with a 27y/o boy WOW you are beautiful!!! I am 42 wish I was 24 😩😩😩My daughters hair is almost to her butt she doesn’t want to cut it but FIGHTS me every single morning to brush and style it ugh...how come Gracie is homeschooled?? Like why did she go till the 2nd grade now she’s homeschooled is it cuz you wanted her closer to home??? I wish I had the patience how hard is it to homeschool??? I love you guys I thought FOR SURE you were gonna say you were a hair dresser 🤷🏻‍♀️ I myself am not and my daughter has won the BEST HAIR award 3yrs running 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I always say if you can French braid you can do ANY braid....it’s all in the way you hold your hands and that took me a MINUTE to figure out myself so...thanks for the video and the little insight to your life’s 😚😚😚

I absolutely love all of your videos! My daughter recently donated 12 inches of hair to Wigs for Kids, so we are trying to find hairstyles that we can do on her short hair at the moment. This braid is stunning!! I was wondering if its possible to do this style as a french braid, since she doesn't have the long hair at the moment. Keep up the amazing videos!

Love this video!! My daughter and I love you guys! I homeschool my kids. My son is 16 and a Senior and my daughter is 11 and a 6th grader. I love to homeschool. Do you follow any homeschool programs or make just up your own curriculum? My son uses an online high school and my daughter uses k12 independent learning. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!

I'm not being rude actually my sister got like that from the top and the bottom and they used to bully her a lot in school her hair is coming out slow but she regrets it for pulling it back so much and again I'm not being mean I'm just trying to make a point and I love their hair tutorials

We've had some people who's had the concerns you did. They think she's gonna end up with "Alopecia Areata" (A.A.) which is not true. I am a licensed hairstylist and AA is an autoimmune skin disease, causing hair loss on the scalp, face and sometimes on other areas of the body. I assure you she does not have that. After styling her hair in whatever tutorial she in that day, we take it out right afterwards. For a normal day just going to the stores or whatnot, her hair is usually down most of the time. On Sundays when we go to church, I style her hair either in a fancy braid or an up-do then when we get back home, I usually take it all down. So it's not up for hours at a time. At night before she goes to bed, I give her a 5 minute head massage to stimulate the blood flow to the head. Her fathers side of the family has a hereditary receding hair line, so she's most likely gonna take after that side (boo hoo😄) There's also an old wives tale that those who have a high forehead (which she and her fathers side of the family does) that they have a high intellectual level. And they sure are very smart! Anywho, Thank You for your concern😌
