We have the same shade of red sisterlocs. I’ve done DST a few times . Now if you want a really nice style plait your hair and leave it in.

I couldn't watch till the end because chewing that gum was very distracting otherwise the end results look good.

They are gorgeous and I love the style you did on your two strand twist prior to taking them down for the twistout.

I think they turned out nice... It's cool that you don't need rubberbands to secure the ends... Those will probably last you quite a while... the definition will just fade over time. I am sure other ladies with sisterlocs will find this helpful

I like the style! I'll have to try it when mine get longer. You said you were going to try to wait longer to dye your locs again. Have you ever rinsed (semi permanent dye) to brighten its color? My hair hasn't been dyed yet, I want to wait in another month or so.

I actually tried the two strand twists on my sisterlocks a couple months ago and was surprised that it looked cute! So I rocked it in some cute pin-up styles for about a week before I pulled it out. My curl wasn't as tight as yours, but that's cause i didn't use any product. Do you get any buildup or anything from the products you use?

@ken21don1 ;-) well it usually takes me like 2 days to retighten because I dont do it all at one time.. i do sections because I have other stuff to do... i think i have like 300 locs... and yes I was i birmingham, AL this past weekend.. but i go to school in huntsville,AL

@Burgundycatwoman u can try the twist now even tho ur hair might not be that long! i did try a semi permanent one time, butthe red that i did was wayy to RED, so i probabl have to get one thats more of a purple undertone that the orange undertoned RED firey color.. r u gona dye urs or so a sem-permanent color?
