@It’s_MaileFrom what I am reading, softball was initially a men's sport as well. I say baseball because it's most popular. I also believe it's easier. Especially pitching. How many young ladies can pitch? Not many. The mechanics it takes to pitch in softball are extremely difficult. It takes tons of practice to be good. Baseball pitching is easy.

I'm from New Zealand softball is big .O.U is my fav Team .O.U. is mentally physically tough team to beat down .coach with core goals winning mindset helps keep team grounded

I like Texas Longhorns,Coached by Kiwi Michael White.His team is well polished,With some Quality pitchers in his squad,Mike pitched for Kiwi Men's teams too,In the early '80s.

Rachel Garcia was getting squeezed by the ump. Her only pitches that were called strikes were the ones right down the middle.

The last time I watched this game was 2021. Both teams were so good! But with Faraimo unavailable and Garcia on her third straight day pitching, Oklahoma would not be denied. You can tell halfway through that Garcia is just gassed. It would have been the perfect opportunity to go to Faraimo in the 4th. Unfortunately, c'est la vie. Hopefully, with the experience of this year and the #1 recruiting class in 2024, the Bruins can make a run for #13 in 2025.

The play exited me because it looked like they were going to succeed in that play. The impact that it had on the players was a positive one they were all very happy. Sporting event is softball, age is about 18-22.

I don't suppose you have the other games after this, do you? I can't find the semi-final games anywhere (Alabama vs Florida; James Madison vs Oklahoma) nor the Championship game. I'm in the UK and only just started watching softball this season & got really invested!

@france.4377 I agree that nationally softball isn’t as popular as it should be. But I’m from Southwest Louisiana down by the Texas/Louisiana border and we absolutely love softball. It’s really a big deal down here. Even the home schooled girls have leagues, along with rec, elementary, middle school, high school and even the churches around here plays softball. Sulphur, Louisiana even host the fast pitch 56, we have two major ball fields the the 2008 Olympic softball team practiced on for several days. When we host the fast pitch 56, we have fields that are second to none in a 4 state area. We love our softball but it needs to be more promoted than it is.

I think the injuries to Bubba and to Megan really hurt the team. You do what you can do, you don't cry, just got some bad luck. But UCLA is softball and I can't wait to watch Team USA with Bubba, Rachel, Ally Carda, and Delanie Spaulding playing in the Olympics. Go Bruins.

Looking back @ 2019 we clocked OU for the Championship and I still think had we a healthy Bubba and Megan we would have won.....But now, move on to 2022. Maybe see you all in Florida in February.

@@averyyyy397 Carda is still doing really well with the national team. She had an incredible win against Japan with a bunch of strikeouts this summer. Spaulding is playing in the Japan pro league I believe.

I feel bad for the guy who found the ball in the green area and finally made it out only to get kicked out by security so like that’s messed up because no one can go down there to get a dropped ball???

Nope. Otherwise it’d be full of trash, and who knows what else. The ball would’ve been retrieved by the park I’m sure. It’s just like someone jumping in the field. It’s OOB.
