_I found it by Googling "Y'all Ready for this"_ =^/ I'm used to the instrumental "Radio Disney Jams" edit, so I looked up the only lyrics that I knew that it had. I thought the name was "Get Ready for this," but I looked it up because I couldn't remember the artist's name.

Anybody who wasn't born yet, you have no idea how big this jam was in the 90's. Every basketball game, hockey game, football game, and MTV, and watching at home cable. This was everywhere. It was by far the biggest dance song there was.

I used every possible search terms I could over the years: "basketball half time music" "nba break music" "nba cheerdance song" "that song that they play during nba halftime" "la lakers cheerleader music" "dance song played during sports events in the us" etc etc. I can't believe finding this song took longer than the time it took to get my bachelor's degree.

When this song came out in 91/92 when I was 12 years old, it made me realise that dance music and DJing is a hobby that I want to pursue. 30 years later and I'm still spinning tunes and always try to work in a 2 Unlimited track where I can :)

My dad bought a bootleg cd off the side of the road in LA and it had all the 90s techno hits. Loved every song in it and I remember this song being in it. Definitely feeling my 6 year old self all excited to hear it again :)❤️
