I really like how the third goal starts with Ali Krieger defending, then took by Mewis, received by Heath, sent to Lloyd and then boom golazo!

1.Jill Ellis: Thank you,credit to the coach 2.Tobin Heath :one of The best player USWNT has,need to look her surroundings,awareness of players,wasting so much energy after receiving the ball.Christian press used to played like that, awareness of players after the ball but now press is a completely different player,amazingly changed. 3.The commentator voice: reminds me many men's world cups,always excited to hear this voice.

47:33 LOL what was that xD. I like He left foot gave up or something weird. The best part was that at the end some of the US and NZ players weird either greeting each other or hugging like Sam Mewis and this other NZ player. It's like they are friends and know each other, so nice.

Yes, thanks for getting this up so quickly. The U.S. did not look very good in this game. Too slow, way too static, too narrow, poor passing for the most part. Lot's of long, pointless passes. Way too predictable. They need to combine more on the wings. Dunn was really off and should've been carded for that late header in the first minutes of the game. I've been watching France and Germany lately and they look much better. U.S. was fortunate that N.Z. were clearly jet lagged and made some basic mistakes. I think the AR's missed a few offside calls, as well. If the U.S. meets France in the quarterfinal, they may be coming home very early. Pick it up ladies!

Have to agree. These performances don't bode well against strong competition. Contrary to the sponsors drumbeat messaging, Morgan is not playing like a star. We have very poor starts. Our keeper is untested...... I am not optimistic.

Thats why, mrs Kriegs must be a starter, first touch amazing pass to Mewis , there to Mal there to Christen then GOAL for Carli ... She is the best right back at her 33 she teaches how this position must be played . I'm so damn proud for Ali that 100 th caps must have done 2 years now !!!

Lloyd... Again! Love it! 😘👌 EDIT: The overall play from the US here is much improved over the last few games. Not only is the back line play improved, but the interplay and fluidity of the more forward 7 field players (10 minus the center backs and holding mid) is just sensational. I don't know what has clicked, but you can tell it's here. And their fitness level in that heat is extremely impressive. It's great to see the US team beginning to reach peak performance in perfect time for the World Cup! 💕

They played New Zealand, Belgium and South Africa none of those teams have any shot of beating US let alone have a shot on goal or score. They will Beat Mexico also 3-5 nothing. This games are just ego boosters b4 a big Tournament proves nth solves nth and doesn't answer or solve the issues they had against France in the 3-1 loss or the draw in SheBelieve Cup. Sad part is Lloyd is a better striker than Alex but Alex will start all games. I love the US but don't see them doing this to France, Germany and other stronger opponents. Hope I'm wrong but doubtful
@peaceharmony4115
@peaceharmony4115 5 жыл бұрын
@@Kymani7477 I can understand the concern. The gap in strength of the various strong women's teams in the world has really narrowed the last few years -- and that trend will continue. But given that the US is beating these reasonably good teams by these margins, I wouldn't be too concerned. All of the strong teams going into the WC have a strong shot: USA, France, England, Canada, Germany, Holland, Japan, Australia. I would be surprised if it wasn't one of these 8 that ended up winning, but even that is possible.

Just like in the game against South Africa, she doesn't get touches or passes or the passes or crosses are just bad if she got a pass like the one Carli scored of off yes definitely would have scored but I have watched these games and have yet to see Morgan get such a direct pass to the feet in the last two games. Passes and crosses have not been good when morgan goes to the box

IMO it's time to admit Morgan is in poor form. She is not finishing her chances and others are. She's been a streaky player in her career - why is it so hard to admit she is on a poor streak. We have options. Why all the rose-colored Morgan glasses?

Will all the talk about Carli and Alex and who should be starting, I did some research into who Lloyd has scored against going back to 2016 as well as Alex and who she has scored against. using the current top teams in FiFA, not including the United States, teams from#2 thru #11 and they are: (#2 Germany , #7 Japan, #3 England, #4 France, #5 Canada, #6 Australia, #7 Japan, #8 Netherlands, #9 Sweden #10 Brazil #11 Korea DPR ) soucre for this information is: www.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/ranking-table/women/ I also went back to see how many goals in the 4 "She Believes" and the 2 "Tournament of Nations" tournaments that the Uswnt has played in and to my surprise, Carli has not scored any goals in those tournaments at all, and all are top 10 teams. Anyone care to guess how many goals Carli Lloyd has scored against the current top ten teams listed above? I can tell you this Alex has scored 16 goals combined against the top 10 teams listed above. I actually charted the scoring of each of these to players and the source for my information is this website: www.ussoccer.com/womens-national-team/lineups By clicking on the aqua color words you can get a complete break down of that game, particularly who scored. By the way, Carli Lloyd has only scored 2 goals against the current top 10 team listed above, dating back to 2016. What this shows is that Carli Lloyd can score against subpar teams but that she doesn't score a lot against the elite teams. If you include teams ranked from 12th thru 21st, (Norway, Spain, Korea(South), Italy, China PR, Denmark, Switzerland, New Zealand, Scotland and Belgium, Lloyd has scored only 8 goals compared to Morgan's 25 goals. It begs the question can you count on her scoring against teams ranked from #2 thru 21st. Based on the data I charted the answer is not really. Another stat worth noting is that Cali has score 31 goals from 2016 to present and only 8 have come against top 20 teams, Morgan 45 goals and 25 have been against top 20 teams. You guys be the judge who should start Morgan or Lloyd?

@chrisradovan7642 5 жыл бұрын
@@PaulKRedd Maybe but if she gets passes like the one Carli got there is no doubt Morgan would have scored but watching both games Morgan never got a pass as easy as the one Carli got nor did she ever get any good crosses she could actually redirect into the goal. If I am wrong please show me because I watched both games against South Africa, and NewZealand and did not see any. I will be watching the games again and looking for passes to Morgan, like the one Carli got or even crosses. Please tell me how many you find? Yes, I agree, current form matters but as a striker if you are not getting good ground passes to your feet or crosses that you can actually get your head on, how do you expect a striker to score?
