Sir in the last question I think that the velocity in y should be negative or the jcap should be negative as vsin theta is in negative y axis. Or if we take the velocity vector with the positive y axis it would not be perpendicular

Sir last question me second vector kee line ke along jaate jaate jab ground se intersection le tab ek right angled triangle banta hai with angle θ, assumed angle α and the 90°. Jisse hum ye bol sakte hai that the magnitude of angles is equals the sum to 180°. Therefore, θ+α = 90°. By this, α = 90°- θ . Then the velocity at time t′, let be u′ is u′cosα = ucosθ. Therefore, u′= ucosθ/cosα. Now replace α ----> 90°- θ. Therefore, u′= ucosθ/cos(90°- θ). u'= ucosθ/sinθ = ucotθ u'= ucotθ OR u = u'tanθ Components of u'= ucotθ, The X component would be u'ₓ = ucotθcosα = u(cosθ/sinθ).cos(90°- θ) = ucosθ Therefore, u'ₓ = ucosθ (which is true) SImilarly For the Y component, u'ᵧ = ucotθ.sinα = ucotθ.sin(90°- θ) = ucos²θ/sinθ. Therefore, u'ᵧ = ucos²θ/sinθ. Let the time taken be t' u'ᵧ = uᵧ + aᵧt' -ucos²θ/sinθ -usinθ = -gt' (ucos²θ + usin²θ)/sinθ = gt' u(cos²θ + sin²θ)/gsinθ = t' Therefore, the time taken comes out to be t' = u/gsinθ Cheers!

u sin theta - gt already contains the negative sign ( sir has already taken the acceleration negative ) ..... i mean when we write the eqn of velocity only along y axis, we dont write j cap as it is understood instead we use only plus and minus .
