I just did a trim on my hair last week. Mine was also growing like a mullet with extra long pieces on the side too. It is now a bob like your hair. I am now 19 mo. Loced. The best decision ever for my hair.

I have traditional locs and I probably trim my ends every wash .. When I started my locs it was a big thing as it is now. I did a big chop from under my butt to mid back. At first I was all about length, but now it isn't a big thing for me. . I definitely can see the difference in the trim and I like the thickness of it.

Your locs look gorgeous!! You've gained lots of length and fullness in 2 years. Congrats!!! 🥰🥰 I'm now 25 months loc'd and still loving it! I've only done one trim so far lol.

Wow! Look at all that hang time! Two years already!! I've been following you (on my other channel) since when you had about half your current loc count. I LOVED that set. You were my inspiration to get the number I did instead of Sisterlocks; now you have way tinier locs 😆 I'm sure these are going to be just as beautiful as your previous set. Keep being an inspiration ✨️

The locs in the back of my hair are growing longer than the front and sides but I can't bare to cut. I will wait for a couple of years and then see. I can't believe its been 2 years already. I'm a year and 3 months on my 2nd set... Congrats on your new baby!!!

I'm getting into trimming because I do not like the extra strands hanging from the loc so i started snipping them as i found them. I will be 2 years in December

Wow, I can't believe its been two years. Yes, I love the trim it looks more styled. I started following you and loc'd my hair four years well almost four years. ago. I retighten my own locs. Trims I have done but not to much because my hair isn't fully loc'd on the ends (70 %). It has matured more than I ever imaged. I do have micro locs which I thought you had in your first set. Thank you for the inspiration to take the journey.

Technically it's 16 years locd 😜 But 2 years with this current set. I loved your first set and I'm still not over it, forgive me 😅 My locs definitely need to be trimmed for a more even silhouette. I'd been promising myself that I'd do it once I hit the 3 year mark. Well 3 years came last month, so the time is now 😁 Thanks for the reminder.

I got my locs 1 week ago! I’m going to one post install appointment at 4 weeks but plan to maintain myself. Are you still doing a 4 point? Trying to decide on rotations.

Thanks to you, I think I’m now convinced to microlock my hair because it is the same texture as yours; very curly but thick 4C with a bit of 4B to it and I love how it looks on you. I also want to ask if the curly gels/creams that work on your hair before the locs, still work after locking?

Yaay! And no i don’t use any creams or gels in my locs. I use a gel to lay down my baby hairs sometimes.
