2 Year Old Makes Home Made Easy No Bake Peanut Butter Pie: Susie's Cooking Show Ep. 15
Today 2 year old Susie is making her Great Gram's no bake, easy peanut butter pie. It's really easy, really fluffy and super delicious. We made our own no bake peanut butter pie crust with chocolate graham crackers, which really complimented the peanut butter flavor, but a store bought graham cracker pie crust works just as well. If you are allergic to peanut butter, feel free to try it with Sun Butter, or a peanut butter alternative.
This is a great recipe to make with Kids because it only has a few ingredients, and none of them are harmful if eaten during the process (like raw eggs). It works best if you use a mixer, so if you are making this with kids, please talk to them about mixer safety and make sure they are accompanied by an adult.
Ideally your kids wont have a runny nose, but this was a teaching moment for Susie about food safety and colds. It's gross, but it's life... and she's 2.
Home Made Easy No Bake Peanut Butter Pie Recipe:
Crust:
1 1/2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
6 tbs butter
1/2 cup sugar
Peanut Butter Pie Filling
Mix together:
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
4 oz cream cheese
Fold in 1 container (recipe calls for 9 oz, but most containers are 8 oz) of whipped topping, like Cool Whip.
Chill for 1 hour and serve.
