Quick tip! If you participate in ShB and EW hunt trains, you get nuts! Exchange these nuts at Eulmore hunt vendor for ronkan gear (they're 25 nuts a piece, specifically ronkan rings because they don't have the "unique" tag which means you can get a ton of them in your inventory). Once exhanged, you can then exchange them at your GC for seals (remember to activate Seal Sweetener) for your seals! Not only is this the best method imo by far to farm seals, you also can level up your FC and get FC points, get poetics for equipment for your alt jobs, get causality tomes for EW relics, as well as comedy tomes for highest iLvl gear currently! Basically, by doing hunts, you're killing like 5 birds with one stone!

As a serial minion gacha addict and from personal experience, I find the Limsa aetheryte to be the most effective place for doing minion giveaways (in Brynhildr, at least). I got the Island Adenium Whistle from my second box from Island Sanctuary on week 1. Sold it for max bank, and then used another I got later on when the prices were down to 6m. Luckily, the rates for the mounts are higher in the Island boxes...

As someone who got the Pegasus on the first run to floor 200 of POTD, I would say getting via POTD would be much easier than the Grand Company boxes. Plus I would say there's a lot more fun actually doing POTD rather than trying to simulate a gatcha game.

I decided to tackle that grind as soon as the lootboxes were released, because I don't like PotD at all. All the gear I get gets grinded into seals. And all seals get spent on lootboxes. For two and a half years of constant playing I've been at this. And I still don't have my pegasus.

I've been trying to get the marlboro pet from the boxes myself. Leveling all the alt classes gives you a bunch low level if you do the daily hunt marks and fates.

As someone who has gotten a Night Peggy mount from a material crate, I know how rare it is, i used to hand in 1 - 2million seals a week and spend on mainly all 3.0 Containers, some on ventures too. Sadly i already had the mount, but a fc memebr i know wanted it, so rather then selling it on the market place for 15m ish, i sold it to a FC member for about 4m

I felt this so much. I have literally opened close to 600 3.0 boxes in the last 2 years and none of them did a black pegasus dropped. I got all the other ones minus that one. I have also opened close to 500 4.0 and got all the mounts minus the dodo. I am regularly top 5 on my server for GC seals when I'm really on top of it (e.g., doing all roulettes + whatever misc stuff I may be farming like gwibs) + I have 10 retainers which, again, when I'm on top of it I send out on quick explorations multiple times per day and then turn in the gear for seals. I'm a madman, yes. But also I learned to place less expectations on RNGeezus and if it happens it happens. I have burned out on the game a few times from all the grind (and there's ALWAYS a grind) so in periods like now pre-expansion launch I just relax more and passively grind when I feel like it. Will I get my beautiful Peggy or minions like the copycat bulb? Maybe not. But I hope to! ALSO, I am suspecting it is a good idea to farm and bank 4.0 boxes right now because I bet they're gonna add ShB minions/mounts to the 4.0's and I wanna test that by opening them after DT drops. 😜 May the odds be ever in our favor! 🤑

That was very entertaining. It took me like 500 3.0 boxes to get the Pegasus mount. I crafted for the boxes (also good for spiritbonding)

this has to be the oddest timed video ever, ive been grinding out 4.0 boxes and had 100 fails yesterday and found out that someone had made 100m seals in a month. so i was trying to look at youtube videos if anyone has any methods to do 9m/week but everything was from like 2015+. Now 5 days later, you appear lol... great work btw.

At this point, I have pulled every other possible drop from the 4.0 boxes at least 10 times each, without getting the cassie minion. I'll probably get it as a real drop before ever seeing one of these boxes.

The name of this video should be 'How to NOT get a Nightmare Pegasus Whistle'. Legit got mine on my very first run of POTD to the upper floors. And I sold it... for 50min when it used to be more expensive back in the day. Then years later I just bought it back when it was like 20mil cause I wanted a 'edgy' mount to run Shadowbringers. Mind you I saw others whistles drop in POTD is not hard. Just do it. Also 2 years you can easily make 100s of millions in FF so this is legit the worst waste of time to get a mount XD

Grinding Shisui of the Violet Tides for gear and turning them into Seals and buying boxes is how I make my gil, lmao.

I quit FFXIV years ago for BDO since it has better combat and graphics and more to do since there is typically no end game or level cap. But the reason I am here is because I saw that the last 2 mounts you was missing was some Lynx and the Night Pegasus, I was like "He's got to be joking right?" So I skipped to the end and saw that you bought the Black Peggy lmao I was laughing because my younger brother and sister spammed POTD for hours a day leveling up all of their classes to lv60 & 70. That they got Black Pegasus a few times and even gave one to me. I didn't think the mount was rare due to how easily they've obtained it, but God having opened hundreds of boxes and not get it must be some insanely low RNG. Now I play BDO and I'm use to low RNG and grinding though but if I played FFXIV still and was that stricken with RNG I'd be pissed too like you was with Plan A 😂

I've opened somewhere around 2000 of the other boxes and I've yet to see a mount besides the damn chair. Meanwhile I have a friend who has sold like 6 of them now. Rng I this game seems like it can just choose to absolutely fuck you on some things.

Lol. The one you get from the Island Sanctuary box is verry cheap on MB anyway. The other you need 200 Vegetable vouchers and you get 7 per week is F up. You can buy it from MB too however. At least i am 1 week away from that.
