​@@BroncoBoys I don't disagree, hence the 99%, and I also wouldn't judge anyone for collecting what they love, but I still believe it's a bad move in almost all cases for personal collections. Flankster's Endo is from one of his favorite franchises, and was a used statue with some wear so he negotiated it down to half price. That's a justifiable decision and falls into the 1%. Same goes for BAM Collectibles buying a one off life-size Sage Mode Naruto. Not throwing any shade to people that buy a life size as a statement piece, but beyond that it becomes way harder to justify. Id caution anyone considering it to make damn sure they really love both the franchise and the statue because it, along with it's boxes, will take up an ungodly amount of space while almost certainly losing value longterm.

Some life-size statues look pretty cool. This Optimus and the Endo look great. I think the Alita one looks cool also. But I hate those superhero ones that just look like mannequins when they are all sculpted. They are best suited for large buildings, movie theatres, gaming arcades rather than homes I think. Even life size busts can be a bit much in a regular sized room. I own only one and I don't think Id want any more because of the room they take.
