I watched this game streaming live and watch it again twice. Both team played great. Fabris, Bricio, Arina Fedorovtseva( the future of Russian volleyball), Koroleva, Pokopaeva(libero) Kadochkina(#17) played well.

Desde hoy Samantha es mi ídolo. Deportistas que se ganan con su talento un lugar en el deporte. Triunfó en USA y ahora lo está haciendo en Russia. Falta difusión en México para sentir lo orgullosos que d vemos estar de esta grande del deporte.

Muchas felicidades SAMANTHA BRICIO. y SAMANTHA FABRIS las dos muy buenas... Aunque todo el equipo estuvo excelente... Yo creo k mejoró todo cuando empezaron a sonreir y divertirse en el 2o. Set. Ojalá la selección de México se traiga un entrenador ruso o italiano... Tenemos la materia prima... Mejorariamos más el nivel k tenemos. Me sono a manada pero me pongo la camiseta de la selección femenil de volleyball mexicana. Las admiro mucho a todas.

Wow, that was fun to watch! Both teams played great!! Moscow's Bibina and Goncharova were really, really good. Ak Bars' Bricio was outstanding and Podkopaeva played the best I've seen her play!! My only complaint is why was Fabris set 56 times? No, really, Why? Bricio was set only 37 times and at an almost 50% success rate, is Ak Bars most efficient attacker. That's not an opinion, that is just math. At best, Fabris attacks successfully only 30% of the time, and is Ak Bars' 4th best attacker, behind Bricio, Fedorovtseva and Karoleva/Konovalova (in the middle). Ak Bars won, so all is forgiven. Fabris is a good player, but going forward, it doesn't seem smart to emphasize her over the other, better players on the team (looking at you Startseva). .

They never set up the back court center attack for Bricio, That's a thing of beauty to watch when she takes off from the back and jump high(fly) and smash that ball to at least 2 blockers from the opposing team. Saw that many times when she was in Italy. Wololz to Bricio on BACK COURT SET. Fabris and the other members did played well and Bricio seems like a decoy on the first set. Tall blockers are always watching her and so are we. lol

You generally run the oppo much more than any other position( you set them mostly in transition), and their oppo actually did really well hitting. Looking at pure percent isn’t always the full story.

Bricio tuvo 22. Fabris tuvo 23. Pero el porcentaje de efectividad de Bricio mucho mejor. Simplemente no le dieron la bola tanto como a Fabris. Ademas su defensa estuvo muy buena.

I can't fathom why schcerban isnt going to tokyo. Voronkova//Schcerban is the perfect duo for OH2 in Russia right now(parubets injured). Lol couldve just bought malova for libero and put Schcerban instead.
