I use to live in ikuebukaro. Looks like it’s gone anime overdrive since then (early 2000s). Back then the only anime/manga store was animate. Thanks for bringing back good memories 😊

Stupid me.. I bumped into Sunshine City (while heading to Animate) 2 weeks ago at Ikebukuro and missed out on the many goodies that she offers. Thank you for bringing us there and I be sure to check the place next visit - I am collecting the One Piece wanted posters and (from your footage) this One Piece store seems to have a lot more as compared to the one I visited at Shibuya. Thankful for your upload and congratulations on your lucky pulls! Really like the Goku last pull, it is the perfect memoir and symbolic of Dragonball's author. P.S. I just want to appreciate you again as a local for sharing places/hidden gems like this that are sometimes not easy to find from just Google searching. Thank you Selena!

ahh i was in tokyo last year and i went to sunshine city but it was a weekend and it was raining so it was soooo busy inside that i didnt take proper time to look around and i missed so much of these stores :(
