I listened to Heft and the Unseen World in 2023. I’ve become a Liz Moore fan. Delighted to hear there’s a new book from her this year.

Thank you so much for making this list! So many sound great. I’m especially intrigued by The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels.

I also made a list of hopefuls for 2024 and our lists barely overlap. I'm only like a third of the way through this video and am learning a ton LOL. Thank you!

I've heard a lot about The Age of Magical Overthinking on TikTok, so never fear! Chouette has been on my tbr for sooo long, this is the year I'm gonna read it-did you know Oshetsky's daughter does video essays on this very platform?? Bc I do and I was watching one of her videos where she mentioned the book as I was adding it to a tbr graphic gahhhhh I hadn't heard of alot these though, so thank you for putting them on my radar, I'm especially looking forward to Beautyland and Come and Get It

Also really looking forward to The Book of Love. I’m super excited that she decided to go for a big ambitious chunky novel for her first novel. I’m super excited for Sofia Samatar’s new novel coming from Tor this year called The Practice, The Horizon and the Chain. Can’t wait to see what you think of these this year. Cheers!

I knew I recognized that name. I have had her short story collection on my shelf for a few years now and really need to get to it.
