Living in South Texas, for the last 11 years, I really miss Mississippi.

I am from Upper East Tennessee and lived in Hinds County 1975-78 and 1981-85. It was a cultural shock for me, both politically and economically. But, the people I met while there are lasting friendships.

Olive Branch is not the only city south of Memphis that is vibrant and growing. Hernando, Southaven and the new area around Lewisburg are superb areas to live. These communities along with Olive Branch are all included in the Desoto County schools, the best in the state, better than most in Memphis.

You think so, just ask the people in Jackson, Mississippi with poor health and poor water quality and the Governor did nothing about it

Who on earth wrote this garbage?! Horrible pronunciations by some kind of talking machine, bad grammar, ridiculous choices of vocabulary, and there are certainly nicer towns in the state than some that are listed. And the very second picture (which was used later too) is not even Mississippi, it's New Orleans! Bay Street Looey?? Oh, you mean Bay Saint Louis. At least Biloxi got pronounced right; that was amazing.
