I met Jonathan Brandis shortly before he passed away & he was honestly one of the most genuine people I'd ever come across. Truly a good soul. Jonathan wanted to get into writing & directing & these were things I could've seen him doing. I remember telling him that I couldn't wait to see what he came up with. Corey Haim was one of my celebrity crushes. His death hit me especially hard. I am a child of the 80s and 90s, and so "The Lost Boys," "Dream Machine," "Fast Getaway," "License to Drive," "Prayer of the Rollerboys," etc. were part of my ever-expanding list of movies I loved to watch. I'm so sorry that he fell victim to Hollywood's dark side. It absolutely disgusts me that the sickos who preyed on him, as well as other young people, have not been brought to justice. Brittany Murphy's death is still, to this day, very suspicious to me. I'm so sorry she's no longer here. She was one of my favorites. Brand Renfro...immediate gut wrench. Right up there with my crushes from the 90s. For me personally as a fan, his death impacted me more than Heath Ledger's who was shortly after. Has been buried back in my brain for so long though that had a sudden gut reaction when I saw it because it'd been so long since he'd crossed my mind. I was too old to really know Cameron Boyce, but as someone with epilepsy myself it hits way too close to home especially given his age. List is just sad, though. With how traumatic it was for him regarding his childhood, it’s so heartbreaking to see that he saw substance abuse as a coping mechanism. He could have been something ten times greater than he already was and would have had a phenomenal career. Rest in peace and happy fifty secondth birthday River 🕊 (his birthday is in a few days). Thank you for the tremendous influence you have been to my life and always will be.

The overwhelming majority of kid actors end up train wrecks. It shows the undue influence possessed by the creeps at Disney that lawmakers are too afraid to do something to protect child stars. The only ones that ended up ok are Winnie Cooper and her real life sister who played Becky Slater, Paul Pfeiffer, the son from Hook, DJ Tanner and her brother Mike Seaver, the kid from the Ring, the little girl from Party of Five, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Ralphie from A Christmas Story. In these cases, the parents were highly involved and made sure that their kids were steered clear of the fast lane. Otherwise, they ended up like River Phoenix, the Coreys, Macaulay Culkin, Doogie Howser, Dennis the Menace, the kid with that bowl cut from 8 is Enough, Aaron Carter, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, those two girls from the Cosby Show, the younger brother on Family Ties, Drew Barrymore, Screech, Stephanie Tanner, Tatum O’Neil, Leif Garrett, the kid from Terminator 2, Buffy from Family Affair, the cast of Diff’rent Strokes and pretty much every kid who was on a show on either Disney Channel or Nickelodeon.

My dad was 48 and at work began telling me his arms felt broken. This went on for months then spread throughout his legs and back. Take things seriously when someone you know who never complains, starts actually telling you things are hurting. He had a rare type of lymphoma (case #13 worldwide). His religious beliefs kept him from accepting the one procedure that could have given him a fighting chance. Sadly he bled to death slowly over two and a half days in excruciating pain. We never know when the last time we will see our loved ones will be and I try to live my life by the words of my father “don’t ever leave or go to bed angry, do not let them finally words you say be words you want to but cannot take back. Those might be the last things you get to do and say with your loved ones and don’t let that be something you will regret “. Not saying allow toxic ppl in your life but even then don’t let your anger get the best of you better to say I love you but I will not accept or allow you to bring toxicity into my life and you are welcome to be part of my life after you get your life figured out rather than something vile and hateful and on their level be the final words left between you. You in no way need to be best friends just don’t let things you feel be hateful because they take up rent free space in your head. Take care all and cherish those who cherish you and be kind you never know when the last time will be the last time.

Some sort of comedy or something I never actually watched it. Anyway they paid my parents £10,000 for a 2 year contract. He was only 15 at the time. Anyway the show got cancelled and he was left high and dry. He thought he was going to be a famous actor or something. After that he went to all of these auditions but nobody hired him. He took his own life back in 2010. He was only 23.
