I’ve shared videos on things I no longer buy, but today I’ll be sharing 20 common items I don’t own. Downsizing and simplifying my life in this way has not only allowed me to save more money, but it allows me to live intentionally and with an abundance mindset. I share some items I have decluttered, as well as some things I have never owned. I hope this is helpful decluttering inspiration if you are just beginning to adopt slow intentional living in your life.

I just redid my kitchen and did not get a dishwasher! I thought exactly like you did. I'm already doing the hard work

It’s definitely a personal preference. At least for me, it keeps the mess from piling up.

@YesiIbarra very true! You won't run a cycle for 3 plates but you can hand wash that very easily

I had 5 Great Pyrenees. We had an alpaca farm and they guarded the alpacas. Now we have one as a pet and he guards our 11 lb papillon dog.

About 8 years ago I moved and decided that I would not have a couch or loveseat or any of the typical living room furniture. I felt like it took up too much space and made it too easy to just sit around and not get things done. I am so happy with this decision both because of the extra space and that it has allowed me to downsize to a smaller, more affordable, apartment without feeling like it would be cramped.

That sounds so interesting! It seems like you took that opportunity to promote movement. It’s not so common in the USA but isn’t all that strange in other cultures. Has it ever been difficult with having people over?

@@YesiIbarra No, not really. We spend more time at the dining room table or at the outside seating. I still have 6 chairs in the home plus i could bring the outside ones in.

I have dishwasher that has been in my kitchen for 20 years and probable only used it about 5 times...I know it is not everyone's experience but you said exactly how I feel about a dishwasher....it is use for storage currently🙈

Most people I talk to seem to love their dishwashers, but you’re definitely not alone here. I’ve been to other people’s homes where it’s basically a storage cabinet too. 😄

I only use my dishwasher as a drying rack. Haven’t run my dishwasher in years.

I definitely need to do my research because I’ve never had a dog, but the great pyrenees seem like such a beautiful family dog. 🥰

A dresser, all our clothes fit in our small closet!

@@TT-fy6hk The best decision you could’ve made, don’t you agree? 😁 We got rid of our TV (and my husband his video games) around 5 years ago. We are much happier and closer as a family because of that.

Social media! We haven’t had it for 10+ years and never missed it! Also, no tablets/ipads for us or kids.

a naturally thin beautiful woman telling me that she doesnt need a gym membership or need to style her hair....yeah....totally realistic for the average person.....

You may have missed the part where I say I workout at home and that everyone has different preferences/things that work best for them. Also that my hair used to be VERY frizzy/damaged, so I quit using heat tools and chopped it off (hence why I now have healthy hair). I'm no better than you are. No matter your shape, you are a BEAUTIFUL person with value. You just have to find what works for you and love yourself in the process.❤
