Please please please make the part 2. This video has been invaluable already for my workflow and taught me things I did not know were even functions in cubase at all. Also Dom Your music is amazing and would love to have a course made by you that I would gladly pay for showing you working/mixing/recording Crime reborn, Beautiful asymmetry and Approaching Sirius. Maybe if you can provide the stems so they can be worked on along with you or at least some music tabs and scores for the work. I would love to get a true paint by numbers kinda thing from you showing the methods and workflow things. You have an amazing ear for the bold and dramatic and would love to be a student of yours but could not find a patreon or dedicated teachable or anything. So please throw this into the ideas bucket and think about it. Keep making that amazing music and videos and thank you

One useful thing I never realised til recently is you can use the middle scroll wheel mouse button to click and drag around the project. That kinda combines scrolling left and right and up and down into one mouse button.

11:03 for this one i personally prefer to just hold Ctrl while (for example) adjusting the length of an event. It removes snap as long as you hold it.

Alt + x - create sampler track (from audio on arrangement page); shift + x - create sampler track (from audio in media bay or pool). My creativity went through the roof with these two. Plus reassigning the ‘reset meters’ function from anything other than the default ‘ESC’ means you can check peak level without automatically closing a plug in or channel edit page. Great when checking the effect of a compressor for example. 👍🏾

Awesome list. I was not aware of alt/opt + s to zoom to selection but will be using it all the time now. Even though it's not a shortcut per se, I didn't know about alt/opt clicking anywhere in the arrange window to place cursor. That's a huge help on a large monitor.

2 more that help me _allllll_ the time: Z and CTRL + scroll wheel. Z will collapse all channel heights and toggle any currently selected channels between that same small height or a very tall expanded view (just try it and it'll make more sense than I can explain lol). If you hold CTRL and use the scroll wheel, you can zoom in or out wherever your cursor is hovering in the project window or editor windows. I use both of these almost religiously.

Excellent as always Dom. Two things I learned: 1. The "Bounce MIDI" command is what I have normally done with the glue tool, like you displayed. (bounce is a weird word for this but it's ok). 2. The Mute/Unmute objects is what I normally have done with the "X" tool, activated by the 7 key. This key command (W) is faster/easier, of course.

You're always an inspiration to learn new things. I'd say I used 1/3 of the shortcuts you mentioned, but was lazy to learn the other combinations. Especially about zooming. And great advice on moving the cursor with alt shift without clicking at the top. This one helped me a lot. Additionally, bounce midi is a time saver for me now cause I glued the events before without even knowing about it. Looking forward to part 2! I'd appreciate advice on moving events efficiently and transport buttons to start and stop playing from preferable parts without meddling with the mouse.
