@Andrew Branch, Amazing comment! I've always felt like I was a painter, but when I would try it would end in disappointment and frustration... but with this "pour paint" technique, there's no right or wrong way and it's abstract, so it's much easier for me do and to enjoy. (I've only made 2 paintings so far! Lol And I have so much to learn, but at least it's enjoyable! I even made them on camera and posted my amateur videos on my Channel! Lol) @Life is Kumquat Loving this video and this music! I can't even imagine how much TIME it took to put all this together!! Thanks for sharing!!

The artist makes it look easy, because that's what the truly talented do. Then you go to try do kill then it's not so easy as it looks. It really does take a great deal of talent. As with any other art form you either have it or you don't

Andrew, you know, what you mean, it is like to see the gifference between european calligraphy and the japanese one. Contraction + consentration vs Release + meditation (you can't do mistake and critice or hate yourself on that). It's the whole philosophy... Sorry for my English, I live in Israel and don't speak English a lot.😊

This morning our 3 year old requested this video (as it was going by on the youtube screen saver). 1 hour later, she, our 1 year old, myself as well, all snuggled up, entranced and in awe. With each video hearing her say "wow! That's beautiful!", as an Art major it brings my heart such joy. Seeing her genuinely have such an appreciation already is so magical. Its ignited that painting passion for me as well. Thank you KZfaq for displaying this video and thank you to the wonderful artist for sharing your art with the world, its a gift! What can I do to prevent my paintings from cracking after they dry??? I let them dry in a room where is not cold or hot but they always crack. Please help!
@clarabow2479
@clarabow2479 3 жыл бұрын
@@brendahernandeznazario6740 - I wondered about this too - apparently don’t add more than 30% water and also try thinning paint with PVA and water. This will help bind the paint, stop the paint layers drying at different rates and so hopefully avoid cracking. I hope this helps, let me know how you get on 😉
@rainberry8464
@rainberry8464 3 жыл бұрын
@@brendahernandeznazario6740 happens to me too. it's not because of the room, though.. i realised that i had been putting too much water on the paper while painting, which obviously makes the paper more fragile and easy to crack.. i think you should try drying your brushes a little more before you put them on the paper, and you'll be fine! after all, that's most definitely something you already do, so try doing it more carefully!
@rainberry8464
@rainberry8464 3 жыл бұрын
@@brendahernandeznazario6740 basically i just fully realised what you meant.. i think you put water on your palette, like blend the colors with the water.. it's better if you only use water to wash your brush between changing colors.. put only the paint in your palette, and also have a cup of water next to it! it helps really much, as you can control the amount of water that will go to the paper way more easily:) you can have another piece of paper with you to test the water your brush has, and if you feel like it's too much, you can just wipe some out !!:) it's really better that way:) tell us how it went!!:)

I just found your channel tonight and I have to say watching each and every piece of art being done is awe inspiring and the music is as everyone says so peaceful and calming. How often do you get to watch 20 different ways to make a work of art that looks so easy and yet you know it only comes from years of experience. I love all of them but my favorites are the one that look like a blue feather on a black back ground and the 4th from the last one made with pastel colors and looks like a flower opening. Both are just so beautiful. Thank you for letting me peek into your world of art it truly is an amazing.

I absolutely love and adore your techniques I appreciate the fact that you are kind enough to share them thank you! Your use of a comb to spread out the base paint is brilliant I've always had problems with that trying to get it even etc but I see how using a comb is extremely helpful and does a great job so thank you for sharing that as well that is something I've always needed help on!

Loved watching your techniques. I’m going to try some. On another thread.....I’ve played the piano for 50 years , but haven’t touched it for this year of chaos. It is an emotional interaction. However I have been painting every week this year. Go figure!

What beautiful paintings. Gorgeous. And it was lovely to hear the music, rather than the artist chattering on. So relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for so tastefully sharing your talent.

This was a very intuitive video to watch. Thank you for sectioning it out for each type of technique. I learned a lot watching this, I am new to abstract pouring and am having trouble with anything other than a dirty pour. You made learning a new technique easy! Thank You!
