You should be more subtle in the way you tell them that you have other options. Both in dating and in interviews. You make sure to drops enough hints that you're a social person and have 'female friends' and maintain your alpha non-needy frame and the will get the message. Girls are smart when it comes to reading your hints. Even if you offer evidence of the existence of your options, blatant statements will offend them and/or make you appear unattainable. Most people who seek relationship, yearning for love tend to expect comfort, care and happiness from an external person and believe that their specific person can only fill their void and complete themselves. This was the only mistake you've made, which causes and endup with effects as unfortunate events. Would you be happy in buying/receiving a new electronic gadget. If then how long would the happiness lasts? Forever? My point is if you are summoning your happiness completley over external sources or on other people it won't last as as you think. Happiness is something thats generated within and people often forget it. "Don't commit" in the sense according to a Stoic/Yogi principle is stating people not to get attached with anything external of their mind and body. It's like giving your power over to someone or something else. Your life will be forever miserable if you keep on looking happiness from external sources and relay on it. Instead practice the art of self love and detachment and once you learned to be happy and playful with one self everything turns in your favor. Yes, its perfectly okay to expect things from your specific person and be happy about it. I know It's kind of attachment but you can always learn to detach from the outcome so that no matter what comes in your way, you will always keep your cool and it won't strike back ever. It's the hard truth of life when you care less they care more. But you don't need to manipulate or use any of the dirty mind tricks to make them chase rather just learn to be happy with one self and enjoy your own company.
