Oh, I thought you already knew. There is a mod out there by Precipitator, the "Extended Settings Mod". It allows for a variety of changes, like multiple monsters, speedy monsters, tiny or big monsters (which may bug the game as the hitboxes scale with it), different light colors and many more settings. Its up on moddb and can be downloaded for free. :)

@@Naiden when i first heard that monstrum could be modded i was shocked especially now with the news abou Sparky (which i knew about but didn't give it too much thought).

@@TheAnonymous-d4l Yeah, Preci really did an outstanding job with his Extended Settings Mod. Sparky will take quite a while until he will be in the game though. If at all. There are still a lot of things that need to be adjusted and fixed and made up since all his animations are custom made and...I'm not particularly good at making animations. :D

Hab ihn vor 2-3 Wochen durch ein Kumpel entdeckt mit dem ich bei PS 4 über share play immer Monstrum zsm spiele (Share play ist ein Spielmodus wo man sich gegenseitig zusehen kann) seitdem habe ich gefühlt die Hälfte der Videos durch

@@destroyerbdbdn9450 Ähm...nein. Eigentlich nicht. Es kann seeehr selten passieren, dass Fiend zu einer falschen Tür teleportiert wird, aber das passiert suuuuper selten.

Manchmal stehen sie auch nur rum und beobachten dich bzw. killen mit dem Mindattack. :)

Ja, das stimmt, da die Performance auch ziemlich runtergegangen ist bei so vielen Fiends die meist gleichzeitig updaten. Deshalb auch eine geringer Framerate und geringer Qualität, damit wir das überhaupt aufnehmen konnten.

Ah yes, its always great to see many Fiends in one place. Tbh when I went into those boxes I thought "I'll never get out of here alive" ^^

Took me a long time to get there, I was afraid of Fiend when they came out too ^^ You have to learn the strengths and weaknesses of each monster, and then you need a bit of luck. It took me a lot of rounds to get it done, thats just the one that worked out.

@@Naiden fear also comes into play when playing monstrum. Fear of the unknown always starts when first traversing since the monster is random. And the monsters can usually deter you from moving which mean they will rubberband you. Maybe I’m just not build for monstrum. Unless I can face my fears. And these fears are some of the scariest for me. Monstrum is a hell of a scary game

@@lucagamingcircus I can relate to that. It was the same for me. But truth be told: Everything becomes "stale" after a while and you get used to the fear. Don't get me wrong, I still get jumpscared when the Hunter comes out of an eggsac right in front of me or when I turn a corner and a Fiend or Brute just screams at me while I usually throw my mouse around (which sometimes gets me killed depending on the distance of the monster ^^). But after the amount of hours that I spent in that game I just know what to do and especially how to avoid and predict what the monsters do. Yes, there is always a random factor to it and I usually have a hard time of predicting Hunter's and Fiends, but with experience you also know what best to do in certain situations. So I can only say: Play the game a bit more and with time you'll learn how to react approriately so you don't die when facing a difficult situation. :) Also: Use lockers and other hiding spots. I see a lot of people trying to play a certain way before they know the game. Hiding can be a hinderance in certain situations but it can also save your life in others. And especially as a newer player it is very beneficial to hide and to learn what the monster does, where it goes and how it reacts :)

Ich glaube das Limit ist irgendwann die Engine, du siehst ja schon bei 20 Brutes bzw 20 Fiends, dass es mit der Framerate nicht so hinterherkommt. Theoretisch sind bis zu ~100 Monster möglich, ob man dann aber ne Slideshow mit 1-2 FPS spielen möchte ist eine andere Sache :)

@@Naiden Ok. Ich meinte aber rein vom Schwierigkeitsgrad her. Also wenn die Performance keine Probleme machen würde^^

@@leow.5594 honestly I tried, the real difficulty is when the flashlight is completely discharged, for the rest you can practically see only within the beam of the flashlight

@@salvatoremandala2770 If you set your gamma to 0 you can't see anything other than one or two lights, not even the flashlight is emitting enough light. But I could try to win the game with a relatively low gamma value so the flashlight still emits some light.

I lured all of the Fiends on other decks so that I knew where most of them are and that I can activate the Heli without them destroying the fuel pump. Its a strategy to make sure that you have enough time to reach the submarine in the end.

Die No Sound Challenge habe ich schonmal gemacht, da war das glaube ich genauso, dass ich nichts gehört habe, ihr als Zuschauer aber schon. Genau weiß ich es allerdings nicht mehr, ist schon länger her und das Video recht alt. ^^

Both, they kind of follow your trail but choose a random point around a general location of yours. That doesn't mean it can't let you alone. Sometimes the monster wanders off quite a distance, but usually they stay relatively close to your position.

Ich spiele aktuell nur auf meinem 2t Rechner wegen Netzteil (longstory short: Netzteil kaputt, Post hat falsch abgegeben, RIP me waiting), und da wir ein paar Versuche gebraucht haben, haben wir nicht immer mit Mikro aufgenommen. :)

Ja. Gibt sogar eine Einstellung in der Mod, die alle Türen von Anfang an verschweißt und man spawnt mit Schweißgerät und muss die dann öffnen :D

There is a setting in the Extended Settings Mod that lets you enable dark ship which completely disables all lights on the ship apart from your flashlight and glowsticks.

Ich hatte damals mal ne Guide-Reihe angefangen zu produzieren, hatte diese dann aber verworfen da ich mit dem Endprodukt nicht zufrieden war. ich mache wohl demnächst mal einen "gameplay guide" indem ich einfach rumlaufe und gewisse Sachen erkläre und eventuell irgednwann in der Zukunft einen der wirklich gut strukturiert aufgebaut ist.

Leider nicht weit. Hatte mit Preci zusammen angefangen, er hatte schon einige Fortschritte gemacht, aber es gibt technische Probleme mit Unity die es uns aktuell nicht erlauben weiter zu machen. Und nein, falls die Mod jemals Sparky drinne haben wird, wird sie nicht auf PS4 kommen. Die Extended Settings Mod ist immer noch nur ne option und der Code von der PS4 wurde drastisch geändert. Und da man für PS4 und so generell "professionellere" Mods braucht die dann in einem Workshop verfügbar sein sollten, würde das ganze sich bei Monstrum nicht lohnen. Also leider nur PC.
