I loooove floral names! My last remaining great-grandma is Rose Mary. My aunt was named Rose Mary after her, and her granddaughter (my cousin's daughter) was named Bailey Rose after both of them. Oh Bud is brilliant! I have a daughter named Keturah Violet, and I have Talitha Fern on my list for a future daughter!

My grandmother's name was Flora, her sister was Rose. My step-grandmother was Pansy.

So glad you are back!! I heard Linnea a long time ago and thought it was beautiful. It wasn't until lately that I found it to be a flower name. My grandmother named several of her daughters with floral connections. Flora, Florence, Rose,and Ione (which means Violet). She did love flowers. My favorite flower names right now are Dahlia, and Azalea. I think Zay-lee would be a cute nick name. I loved your video!

Thanks for another great video! I love your choices here!! Fun facts from an aspiring botanist: Carl Linnaeus (famous botanist/taxonomist) named the twin flower (Linnea borealis) after himself because it was his favourite! So cool sciencey connection there too :) Also Aster can also refer to an entire plant family with lots of different colours/sizes. Thistles, sunflowers, daisies, etc. So a lot of ways to interpret what that name means to you:) While beautiful, they're also extremely resilient, abundant, and diverse 🌻 Some other rare floral names I like are Actaea (related to roses) and Rue (a type of buttercup).

KATE MCMORRAN Hi Kate, that’s all so interesting, thank you. I didn’t know Linnaea was named after the Botanist Carl Linnaeus - I’ll remember that for the next time I mention it in a video! There are so many lovely floral names and lots of unique ones, I love the ones you mentioned. I’ll maybe have to do another floral baby names video and add those xx

I quite like Poppy, garland, magnolia, juniper, violet, tulip, marigold, saffron, sage, and primrose.

I used to work with an Ayana & know a girl from my church with that name too! I plan on using the name Jessamynn for a baby girl some day. It means Jasmine and was my great grandmother’s name. Happy to have found your channel! (I also follow SJ.)

I got the name Elowyn for my daughter from you! I'm in America and it's not common at all here. Everyone loves her name. My mom and sister really didn't like it at first but grew on them. Most people I meet at my job ( I meet a lot of people) get surprised and ask wait what's her name? And they smile and say how beautiful it is so thank you!!

Becky Hoag oh I’ve never heard it but I like it. I like boys names that begin with an O like Oliver and Oscar, but they’re quite popular so Oleander is a rare and unique alternative. Xx

rose is such a beautiful middle name. Im totally using it if im blessed with a daughter. I quite like the name aster (for a boy) totally and completely in love with linnaea

I love your taste in baby names.. my daughters name is Leia (lay -uh) and we are 7months pregnant with our 2nd girl and we can’t find a name we agree on 😓 .. I love Linnea but it’s sounds similar to Leia . I love uncommon names

Anna P congratulations on your second pregnancy! I have two girls and love it. Mine are called Sophia and Sienna so weirdly I didn’t go for anything too unusual but I just loved those names. If I had a third I’d maybe go for something more unique though. Would you like another name beginning with L? Maybe I could do a video on beautiful baby names beginning with L? Xx

Lauren Jane Hampshire Sienna is my top choice right now, but my husband doesn’t like it. It’s so frustrating :( lol .. I would love to see more baby name videos, especially uncommon/ rare names please ❤️
