🇨🇺Our first Spanish retreat in Cuba is done and was a success! Join us in Cuba this October. All details for round two in CUBA! ➡️ theurbaneve.com/cuba-spanish-r... 🇨🇺
Today I am going to teach you some of the most important French slang you definitely need to know if you are learning French.
Which are the most difficult languages to learn?
I get a lot of questions from you concerning the languages I would advise you to learn or which languages are most important. Only you can decide what the most difficult languages are for yourself. Language learning always goes with cultural and/or economic interests, so according to your personal goals, you will have to set the languages you want to learn and make your own priorities.

"en mode" is NOT synonym of "truc". It's literally "in mode".

great vid! just one little thing : in the expression "péter un câble", the verb "péter" has nothing to do with farting : "péter" can be a colloquial way of saying "casser" : to break/snap a cable
@BudderB0y2222
@BudderB0y2222 4 жыл бұрын
It’s because one of the translations of péter is fart but in this context it means break
@jackiedragonfly2461
@jackiedragonfly2461 2 жыл бұрын
So "péter un cable" is basically similar to the American "snap" (also originating from the meaning "to break"), as in: "I just totally snapped and let him have it" = I lost my composure and aggressively made my point (or attacked violently!)

Hi! I'm french and I just wanted to say that "avoir le seum" is a bit outdated, and very tacky. it was popularised by a reality tv candidate years ago, but other than that, very good job!

Je pensais à enseigner plusieurs expressions françaises argotiques à mes élèves. Mais je crois en faire gaffe tous le tout temps, en surtout en enseignant aux débutants parce que certains pourraient les utiliser hors contexte, surtout des gros mots. Rire! Certaines expressions argotiques sont tout à fait drôles.

Most of your expressions are actually not slang. "Hyper" is just a degree adverb here. "Faire sa vie / être au courant" can be considered as idioms, just like "péter un cable" (pretty much existing in English as "blow a fuse"). "Vénère" and "seum" are very outdated.
