Since this video was recorded, the club have released a statement announcing that Dan Ballard has sustained a knee injury that will see him out for the next 6 weeks, which may explain the photo mentioned in the video.

Would be a great signing, not only for having an experienced goal scorer in games, but also to have someone to mentor and work along side the younger strikers we already have and help the likes of Rusyn turn his good runs into goals

If we get Mendy in great cos we do need an experienced goal scorer, yes it's a bit of a gamble where he's never played in England but u hope that his experience will make it easier for him to settle and adjust to the English game , as for Ballard it's a massive blow cos without him our CB position is actually quite weak and poor when u think about it cos we're playing Onien there who isn't a CB and shouldn't be playing there in the first place, you've got CBs like Anderson and Alese who've hardly played at CB since coming here, Triantis not experienced enough and Seelt still out so for me the CB position is an absolute mess and we need 2 experienced CBs in, if Ballard was fit I think we still needed 1 alongside him but now I think we need 2, it's typical cos we'll finally get the experienced striker we've needed for ages but at the expense of the defense getting weak, we've got to go for the likes of Egan and McKenna on a free, we can't go into the new season with Onien alongside Alese, Hjelde, Triantis or Anderson, Cardiff would have a field day against that backline

My credibility rating for any attention grabbing rumour relating to Will Still is close to zero . Ballard, Hume and Ekwah have contracts until 2027, There's no pressure to accept bids from 'higher level' clubs trying to get them early - their value will almost certainly increase after another year. In non fake news, Mendy looks a decent option and could be very good for Mayenda/Hemir.Rusyn development. Foreign strikers can have trouble settling in UK sometimes (Laslandes/Crespo/Morientes) but with a few French players + French manager around, that should be much less likely - so I'm in.
