I don't really doubt that the Emu War happened, but what he did say is that the emus went inland. Noone lived inland at that time, so therefore the emus wouldn't have bothered anyone. People have always told me that I should become a history teacher. I told them that is not a good idea because I would not lie to the students, I would tell them the truth. Then the students would realize that humanity is not progressing, it's regressing. Then I would have a classroom full of depressed students.
