This person who comes to the village, this stranger, is Nature itself. We must give to other living beings, we must leave part of the fruits of Nature for other living beings, and never take everything, never harvest everything. So, Nature will produce. Especially when there is little fruit to take, it must be left some to other living beings. In Europe, we had the same habits, the same culture of life in respect of Nature, before Christianity came to destroy paganism, as it did in America. We just have to learn to listen to Nature again, learn to observe, and in fact learn to learn. Learn to ourselves, learn to our children. Thank you again.

Very true Marie, thanks for posting. Europeans have a hundreds plus year history of believing their own ancestors to be 'horrible, barbaric, heathens' not worthy of acknowledgment. This clearly continues today. So few know the true roots of who we are, and the reason so many of our own ancestral practices are so similar to the Native Americans, and even early Vedic teachings.

WE AINT PAGAN spiritual toddler... may Jehovah burn you for denying his son, our future war chief/chief of earth Jesus. you were right on a couple layers: Jesus defined our mammal nature for us and since WE own nuthin WE should offer at least 10% to him cause WE needed it before WE got it, WE should observe AND SEEK wisdom, learn meekness but in your ignorance you blasphemed him as your flesh worshiping pagan trying to tag spirituality to a false doctrine religion based tag. id advise against denying my witness but its your free will to mark yourself for de existence for denying my purpose... of course (war chief/chief) Jesus counciled the aramaic Cherokee and hebrew Hopi israelites... he IS aramaic himself but they were in exhile/exhiled during his time... this mightve happened while his flesh was in his tomb ... this mightve been pre Cherokee/Hopi titles... the aramaic Cherokee being the light toned tribes of Judah and the dark toned hebrew tribes of the chosen Jew' of Jehovah/(ÆW of (ancient aramaic warrior name = ÆH'W-H ("YaHoWaH") translated to the english of babbel as Jehovah)... its coming to my innerstanding the ÆW/Yah/"Jah" is the representation of his name/our nickname for he... anywho its time to decide your "free" will... angels (meekness) vs demon (egos) (eternity vs mortality/eternity vs minutes) = either demon possession via "satan"/father of lies/temptation of egos or Holy spirit/your angel possession via Jehovah ... as such and (war chief/chief) Jesus as such, as advised and warned in the bible codex...

Thank You Grandfather! In these times when we have so much and others have so little, I think it is more important than ever to do this. I am going to make it a point to do this all the time. I will make a place in my woods, where I live, in the west to offer this food to our ancestors. And I will talk to others about it as well. We sponcer a talking circle every other week here and will bring this up and this story you have shared with us all. It may well be the most important time than ever to do so. Thanks again. I'm not Native American, don't even live in America. Yet I found myself standing in the kitchen looking down at the meat about to put into the pot. And started thinking about the animals it came from. Was it a coincidence I landed on this video whilst cooking? I don't know. But this video was a beautiful story with powerful insight.

This doesn't really say how they prayed. This is good wisdom but it's the origin story of how we started making spirit plates. Not how we prayed. Prayer was already a thing as stated in the story.
