제가 잘 몰라서그러는데 저런릭을 외우는게 무슨 효용이 있나요???? 즉흥할때 코드 프로그레션이 맞으면 하나하나 따서 쓰는건가요? 그렇게 치면 물론 확률은 낮겠지만 너도나도 같은 릭을 쓸거고... 모양이 좀 웃길거같은데.... 전공자가 아니라 무슨 생각하면서 연습해야하는지 잘 모르겠습니다 ㅠㅠ

Seong Hoon Yang 저도 재즈 전공자는 아닌데 이런 릭들 연습해뒀다가 솔로에 적용하고 그래요. 근데 즉흥적으로 하긴 힘들고, 보통 미리 그려놓고 연습해서 외웁니다. 이게 반복되면 프로들처럼 즉흥연주가 가능해지겠죠.

보통 그래서 솔로는 입으로 먼저 연습해보고 그걸 연주로 구현화 해보는 단계가 있습니다. 입으로 릭을 스캣처럼 오브리해보면서 녹음하면 바로바로 수정도 가능하고 내가 쓰고있는 릭이 어떤 모드인지 분석도 되고, 그렇게 꾸준히 연습함으로써 멜로디가 방대해지고 스펙트럼도 넓어지겠죠. 그래서 가사가 있는 노래를 따라 부르면 입에 붙어서 어느샌가 흥얼거리는것처럼 릭도 피아니스트나 기타 다른 연주자들의 릭을 따라 부르게 되면 그걸 온전히 기억하게 되는 순간 그 릭은 당신것이 되겠죠. 이런식이라면 충분히 따라하기 쉽지 않을까요? 너무 당연한 소리라 한다면 유감입니다만 이것도 연습하는 자만이 얻을수 있는 특권이라고 생각합니다.

Thanks; I'll be purchasing this one. Possibly a dumb question from a non-pianist: what are you doing with your left hand? I tried to follow it; a lot of octaves, but there's more that I can't figure out. It would be great if you could make a vid showing typical base lines, for 1-6-2-5, blues, rhythm changes, etc. just to help us non, or beginning, pianists. Stay healthy; love your vids.

11. First 2 bars is the beginning of the 3rd chorus of bud Powell's solo on Parisian thoroughfare (the best of bud powell version). I think there was some other bud powell stuff (like the 2nd one) but I couldn't identify it

Left hand is just comping the chords, you can really play anything on it and it won't affect the lick
