For me as a filmmaker and visual artist, this is devastating - I'm really scared of the future! And this is just the beginning..

If people can't find work and no money due to A.I, how will these big business stay around. My feeling is that we'll find new ways to work with A.I otherwise entire nations will resort to violent protest against machines and looting for survival. The government shouldn't want that. It's not A.I or aliens that I fear. It's angry humans that people should fear.

If you have a story to tell, then tell it and use whatever tools most suitable for you to do so. It might be AI it might be stop motion. But yes, with the ease of making something we will have to put up with more garbage. But we have been seeing that already for the past 20 years.

In the future people will still make films, but instead of doing it for a paycheck, you’ll do it out of passion.

@@henrikpetersson3463 You mean Hollywood when you say garbage?
@henrikpetersson3463
@henrikpetersson3463 5 ай бұрын
@@DionisoBaco1 No. Some very fine films has come out off Hollywood (as well as a lot of garbage). What I mean is that with the ease of making films the ones that are made purely out of attention seeking or money grabbing will increase in volume. It’s the same that has happened in music. While democratisation is great because those without means can put out their art and stories. But the noise will also increase making it harder for them to get noticed.

ChatGPT can make scripts quite well? On what planet is that?
@henrikpetersson3463
@henrikpetersson3463 5 ай бұрын
@@eye776 Not sure if you meant that as a joke or not. ☺️ I was referring to manuscripts since that’s what was mentioned in the video. Yes, I use ChatGPT to write simple computer scripts all the time. Usually does a fine job at that with little or no modifications actually. It’s a huge timesaver. But manuscripts on the other hand are always bland and characterless.

youtuber is not only a video, it's a person you are watching- text, emotions, charisma, vibe, and so on... I don't think that AI can create interesting people in the near future

All the tools for script, character, video and audio are there. Merge that with an AI agent with a strategy to plan topics, collect related content and upload to youtube, then repeat and optimize.

@@kjsdesigns123 Oh please. This year? Have you read the terrible scripts that AI makes? The lifeless voices? Yes, for sure, it can be done. There are already a lot of videos on KZfaq created with AI. But they all suck. Devoid of character, factual errors, boring presentation. The reason people are successful on KZfaq is because others relate to them as people and that they contribute with their unique take on things. AI generated videos will only jam up the search results with more garbage.

@@henrikpetersson3463 I agree with you, there's a lot of crap AI generated content out there today. The key is the exponential trajectory of the technology domain. Look at the evolution of AI video over the past 3 years. Look at the difference between GPT 2 and GPT 4. The scale of money and time investment being poured into this over the last 3 years has already proved the trajectory in results. That investment will continue to double for a long time. My predictions: - End of 2024: AI channels will win 5% of attention on KZfaq, and a far greater percentage on shorter-form video content channels. - End of 2025: 5% grows to 20% - End of 2026: • 20% grows to 40% attention going to pure AI channels • 50% of "Human channel" content (topics, titles, scripts, media) written/created/directed by AI

I think no matter how good A.I become, there will always be a human to human interaction that can't be replace. Regulation will kick in where bots will need to identify themselves as being so.

Take away everyone's jobs, and watch the fallout. Life's not just about stacking cash; it's about growing together. What's the use of keeping piles of $ or €, if you've got no one to share the experience with? End up chatting with your AI pal? Let's keep it real. Sure, some jobs might disappear in the next 5 years or decade, but just like with movements like LGBTQ+, Black Lives Matter, and radical feminism, interest vanish over time. People are tired of B.S and we will one day wake up. There is no other way, because I can see people getting bored of that entire entertaining World.

Those things do not vanish, new ones take over the topic. Just like if you become all the talk in highschool from a rumor, no worries, a week or two later another rumor about someone else will take your place. We will have new groups coming together where the goal is to destroy bots. It's already happening in California.

Oh just stop it with all this job-loss FUD. Nobody knows how AI will affect jobs. Most people will likely end up using AI to improve their productivity, not be replaced by it. That's certainly been my experience as a software developer.

I think there will be more of a negative outcome regarding the professional career programmer. Professionals work with formal specs, design methodologies etc. ideal replacements for machine learning and natural language processing. Clients will just design their own systems at a fraction of the cost. The amateur single coder on the other hand will benefit from AI fetching the code they would normally go to Google or Stack Overflow to get. Plus they probably cant draw, so they can ask for the textures they want without paying royalties. One coder could produce a game that a whole team could do today. The question is will someone with no coding or drawing skill be able to make games. Yes, but it gets complicated because they have to put in to words what is in their mind. On a big game setting all the rules will require an essay unless its just a copy of an already existing game. Plus the AI itself has to stick to the programming language it is using, unless it can design a better one. I think we may see a golden era for the single game creator in the medium term with these new tools.
