Seriously people. It's a makeup challenge. It's supposed to be fun. It's not like she's being judged on how she does it. If her eyebrows were already filled in, they were already filled in. Like get over it. It's not "cheating" if all it is is a fun thing to do on KZfaq. Yeah it's a challenge but seriously. Get over it.

I don't mean this to sound rude because that is not inteded but I don't understand why everyone is against using ELF. The point of the challenge is to make a look in under 20 dollar and it never says what products you can and can't use. ELF is avaliable, inexpensive, and not bad quality so I say go with it

It not necessarily that they're against them it just that with elf you can get a lot a lot of products rather than like being incentive and finding bargains

it's almost like cheating because elf is the cheapest brand out there. the whole point of this is that this is a CHALLENGE!!!! it's challenging you to use normal brands and make the total $20. if you just go straight to the cheap brands, it wont be as challenging.

But not as much as America. In America, you go to Target, it's like heaven of inexpensive and good makeup brands. I had to hoard! Not to mention the buy 1 get 1 which happens almost week after week.

If you do not live in Monaco (which I do not care where you live) then you are doing it wrong when searching. With $ 20 you can buy here in Europe make-up for half a year

I've always used natural lighting, it's the best. No studio lights can achieve the same effect, well except the very pricey ones.

Because she shows her receipt, and it only has the two Physicians Formula products, the eyeshadow set, and the mascara. Even if she bought the gloss elsewhere, NYX retail value for lipglosses are $5+. When her Ross purchases totaled to over 17 dollars. Therefore she cheated.

Elf is a cosmetic line that stands for Eyes Lips Face. The products are very cheap (sometimes only a dollar!). So, what other people have been doing is buying all elf products (since they're so cheap they can get more products). It's not really a "challenge" then, since everything is max $5. Also, she said that she wanted good quality makeup that she could use after the challenge as well. Hope this helped a bit! :)

If you're an everyday user and work in the business/fashion world... Yeah. You always want to look professional. And another thing, some of the better quality products last a a lot longer. She mentions that you really have to cake on the blush and eyeshadow for it to show up, so it will go faster. It's not sad, it's all about looking professional.

i love that foundation.... i had it for a about 4 years and i use it everyday .. there is still a ton left in it. so happy with that product (: + amazing first challage i have seen without elf !

Lol I didn't say cheap makeup wasn't good. What I did say is that I didn't want to purchase bad makeup just because it's cheap for the sake of the video, so I tried finding cheap makeup that's actually good.

NYX is such a good idea most gurus don't think of because they sell it at Ulta. It's way more high end then ELF and all products range around 5 dollars.
