I think its the age old arrogance of Manu Utd - they've struggled since ferguson retired, and they certainly don't scare most teams anymore. If they end up paying the twenty million then I think that releases 100 million for FFP?

I would like to see Cashworth sit for 2 years officially out of the game. Can't stop phone calls to his mate Jimmy but if we can prove they have been made then suing his arse off for breach of contract is entirely possible and possibly strike him off any football register as not being a fit & proper person. . Big Jim may well have to appoint another DoF and then poor Cashworth will be left stranded and then, who would take him on. Why should we have our targets and strategies known to the Mancs when they take him on board. He is dicing with his reputation and fully deserves to suffer the consequences of his actions. But I'll be equally happy in taking £20m converted to £100m to go to the transfer fund if that's what the richest club in the world choose to do.
