I don't care how long it takes, I know I will see a quality point in the end.

it takes time to get good a knapping, and if you live in a state with no knappable rock... your going to pay pay pay out but ass for rock. it is what it is. i lived in maryland my first 4 years of knapping so no rock to speak of. and no states that really had good rock around. Pa. had some Jasper that was very hard to find, but that was about it.

This is very awesome. I am a beginner. I have only been doing it for two or three years could you give me a link of where to get that rock from? I would like to try to use it all I have is some poor obsidian.

Awesome material, like butter. I want to see a 30 minute challenge, same size boulder of North Georgia quartzite. Tough stuff!

Love your videos, but the flashing makes it hard to watch.

I legit enjoy knapping raw texas gravel more than I enjoy obsidian. I dont know if it's my long arms or what but I'm a hard hitter and I break obsidian SO easily.
@naterodgers5851Күн бұрын
Ya obsidian sucks. The dust gets everywhere and cuts you everywhere and it’s breaks easy. I find it harder to see the platforms so I have to stop and pay attention better, I just hate it but I like dacite
@andyshriner5443Күн бұрын
@@naterodgers5851 True, dacite is pretty nice, still breaks more frequently for me, but basalt is a fun one! Like a slightly less brittle dacite.
@naterodgers5851Күн бұрын
@@andyshriner5443 I haven’t gotten any basalt before. Iv been trying to get different rocks to try out. I want to test out as many different rocks as I can
